Very frustrating picking up an injury in a moment like this when I am really enjoying my football and playing in this team. I will do everything I can to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. Thank you for all the messages of support. ❀️

Chelsea are considering recalling Ian Maatsen from his loan at Coventry due to Ben Chilwell’s recent ACL injury. Don’t know much about this guy. Anyone who have seen him play?

I know nothing is guaranteed at the moment. But i’m still clinging to the hope that all will be fine after six weeks. The way Tuchel wants to play suits Chilwell and he was thriving. And one thing i like about the boy is that he gives his all everytime he wears the jersey. Sometimes you may mistaken him to be as one of our academy players. He enjoys close friendship with Mason Mount and Reece James. I haven’t seen a player bond with his team mates like that. Although we have a contigent of English players which helped him settle quicker.

Thank God! Even though the six weeks is a blow to the team, i think i would rather take that than nine months. The lad has been in the form of his life. I hope he returns.

Are you privy to what happens behind the scenes? Did you receive regular updates from the club that we don’t get? Chelsea suspect, and underline the word suspect in the report. And any suspicion is not always final. Am waiting Tuchel to give update today, anyhlthing else, i’m treating it as a rumour.

                  Lucky,

No one wants the cursed tag of favourites.😊 everyone are under dogs in their eyes. But the reason why book makers had City as favourites is because they are the current champions while Chelsea and Liverpool are trying to close that gap. But that doesn’t mean they will not or cannot win. Liverpool have the best attack in the league,Chelsea has the best defence in the league, but City has the best team in the league. It will be interesting title race if it continues as it promises.

I was reading today that the coach United are appointing has refused similar role at Chelsea. And i stopped to thank him for that 10 times. Because what that gave us was Tuchel a 47 yr old coach at the time compared to 64/65 year old coach.and that in return delivered us the champions league. And the good form we are enjoying this season.

Another issue i’m reading is that Chelsea suspect Chilwell has suffered ACL injury.soi hope we go for the out and out wing back if the extent injury is confirmed. I hope nothing is serious.

Let us not forget that the team that Conte played tonight were Spurs second string team except Kane. So Conte must be playing mind games with Levy. Nobody expected Conte to perform at the heights he did when he was at Chelsea. Because back then, he had world class players. And work horses, as well as he had a culture of winning at Chelsea.

He will need the time that Klopp was afforded to rebuild Liverpool and bring them back to the world class status they now have afters years of below par performances.and Spurs made a mistake in keeping Kane when he could fetch them at least Β£150m in warchest in the summer. Now i don’t think if Pep will be prepared to pay even half of that amount. Especially if he wins the league without a striker. The era of an out and out cfs is ending.

I was reading that Chelsea will sell Pulisic to Liverpool for just Β£42 million only. What a load of trash! First that amount is lower than what Chelsea have paid for him, and he has two more years in his contract, so Chelsea are under no pressure to sell him to anyone let alone a title rival.

                        2. Why would Chelsea consider selling him a plauyer who has goals in him? And i haven’t see him complain. The media is saying he is frustrated, what frustration? He has been out for the past two months, did the media wanted him to play regularly while he was injured? Some medi outlets are deliberately trying to unsettle Chelsea players, because they are either ex players of our title rivals or supporters of our rivals.

Or maybe we may recall Emerson from his loan spell at Lyon then. Like you, I hope this injury is very serious. It’s something that Tuchel needs to put focus on in the future, whenever we have a comfortable lead, he should take off our most important players.

I’m reading that all is rosy in the garden at Stamford Bridge at the moment with several key players returning to the training. While there were no injuries reported in this round of international football. Werner, Lukaku, Alonso and Mount are all said to have returned to full training, although, there was no mention of Kovacic’s fitness whereabouts. Hope he returns before the United game, untill his injury he has been our best player and the best in midfield. Also Pulisic and Kante returned from international duty unscathed. Havertz is also fine.

What is wrong with the Liverpool defence! these days they can’t keep clean. but their attack is superior to anyone in the PL and will bail them out of trouble.

Paul Scholes has to be the worst pundit of the year, he is talking about nonsense and anti-Chelsea agenda. He seems to feel deep hatred towards Chelsea football club. It’s a shame he was a great player in his playing days, but a terrible pundit now.

                                  Lucky,
The club’s long term stability is more important than 3 points, the problem is that comes with Ronaldo outweighs the benefits he brings. At Chelsea we don’t have a super star, instead we have a team work. It was written in the stars for us to drop points today, whoever was there wouldn’t have made any difference. Considering Havertz hasn’t stayed in the box for much of the game except the only time he scored. If we have a presence in their box we would have walked with the 3pts.

Also, Jorginho had one hell of a game today, but Kante was poor again. I think he is not still 100% match sharp after the recent illness. Chiwell was also poor by his usual high standards today. But Reece James was excellent again.

But our best player today was Hodson Odoi, he has come from along way to claim his spot in the team, and long may it last. Getting Lukaku fit is the prioty during the international break. He has had a very good resting period.

Don’t want Ronaldo anywhere near Chelsea. he is a disaster walking. where ever he goes these days it’s difficult to handle him. you can see Juventus are grappling with the effects of trying to please him. as he won’t allow another great player and the whole team should be built around him. That is what United is dealing, Ole has his limitations, but to be fair, United have been good and they were heading in the right direction until they brought back Ronaldo.

Or it could be a trick to put him on the shop in January transfer window to fetch cash for the team. either way, Tuchel has succeeded where many failed. one of the achilles heel of the past Chelsea coaches wasn’t getting a peformance from our first eleven, the challenge has always been geting a performance from the fringe players. and thankfully, Tuchel is doing that finally. in the past, players like Chalobah, Sarr, Alonso, Azpi, Ziyech, Loftus Cheek and Barkley would have been a problem for the club. now Tuchel has found a way to utilising them to keep them happy.
