Football aside, i hope he gets well, you never know with this Covid these days. I’m a bit nervous, but hopefully he recovers.

Juventus is interested to sign Jorginho from Chelsea, while at the same time, Chelsea is interested to sign M. Deligt from Juventus. I hope we sense an opportunity and arrange a swap deal with Juventus. they get their man and we get ours. I think Deligt is only 22 very tall and strong in the air, he scores goals, he is a ball playing CB, I was also hearing that Chelsea is also negotiating with N.Sule from Bayern, who has decided to run down his contract. The club is eyeing to replace him with Christensen should he play hardball. And this Deligt guy can also be Rudigerβs replacement. and with Chalobah also signing and the club keeping Silva for another year. We will be fine

Whatever happens, we need to accept the verdict of VAR, not complain when it’s in favour of Chelsea. earlier in the season, we had a goal disallowed for something like that, not in the first or second phase of the build-up. and that was against Southampton. so everyone here was telling us the VAR was correct. now I don’t know why bring all of these moanings when the shoe is on the other foot? we either need to accept all the verdicts or complain all not selectively.

Well, that is a huge win for Thomas Tuchel. he must be relieved as the vultures in the media were circling him trying to find a fault from everything he does these days. but we still need to improve some key areas. I think Ziyech is more comfortable as a right-winger than a right no 10. and we have seen that in all games we have played against Spurs in which we have played back four. let us continue back four from now and then. it brings the best out of not only Ziyech but also Mount. the first team to defeat Don Antonio long may it continue!

Even back then, Spuds were below Chelsea, and when the cash came, you fell behind further. Only United, Arsenal and Liverpool have the right to talk about our spending, as for 3 point Spurs as Lamapard likes to call them, sit back and enjoy it from far.π

It turns out that some teams are bending the Covid-19 cases to cover for their needs. This confirms what we have always suspected that some teams are favoured by theFA than others. While at the same time some are forced to play desite them having covid cases. Very distrubing!

Emmanuel Pettit is trying to spread a very false narrative about Chelsea that Thomas Tuchel is unhappy at Chelsea and his body language is reminiscent of his last months at PSG. i have never seen a worse pundit than this guy. he is trying to start a false rumour to destablise Chelsea.

Ed,
Brighton where lucky enough to play a Chelsea that gad been depelated by injuries and Covid-19. Against Spurs, it was a full Chelsea squad.

Ed,
I think you are a bit unfair to Conte if you are judging with that Spurs team. Apart from Kane nobw would walk into the Chelsea, Liverpool and City line ups. Covid has also disrupted his momentum as he has more games postponed.
United has obviosly a better squad than Spurs, and they have more money than Spurs. I think Conte would have done wonderful at United. I don’t wish him ti succeed at Spurs, but i think he will make them competitve.

Well, the only way back into the game for Spurs is through Chelsea. only if we lose our concentration and give away cheap balls.

The only issue I have with that lineup is Alonso on the bench. I would have preferred him to be on the LWB as he does well every time he faces the Spuds. but I understand our scarcity at LWB. if we come out from this game unscathed, then we could prepare for our biggest game of the season. anything other than a defeat will be good.

No problem Ed, it was inappropriate words, although it could have been made in the heat of the moment. I would still like to plead for leniency. A warning will do the trick.

I won’t resort to abuse or any derogatory words. I think we have outclassed our noisy neighboursπ. And best of it, they have our former coach. Try copying us. That is very good. Next, think is a small matter of FA cup, then our biggest game of the season follows.

Spurs players are all over the ref trying to influence a red card for a Chelsea player. Disgusting!

Between Brighton and Brighton, I know which one I would rather play. and if City has Arsenal, we have one of the best in the league in Liverpool. Without disrespecting Brentford and Arsenal, I think City has easier on both occasions.

The good news is that Kante is on the bench alongside Havertz. it seems that our injuries are easing now. with back-to-back games against our title rivals, we need a fully fit Kante and a firing Lukaku. Werner should be back in the coming days, the only short-term absenteeism we have now is T.Silva and Loftus Cheek. We all know that Chilwell misses the rest of the season. so I’m not counting him. I think the next few weeks will be crucial.

I have to say that is awful news to get only days after receiving positive news from him that he was making light training. We missed him very much, he was in the form of his life. Now we should consider someone with experience to replace.
My preferred choice is Lucas Digne from everton on a loan deal. He has PL experience, he is a cheaper option, and he has fallen out with Rafa. So why not grab him until the end of the season. With the option of buying him should things work.
Another option is Theo Hernendez from AC Milan, rumours says he will likely cost Β£54m to the club, very expensive IMO! we should think of making that kind of investment in the summer. I checked his stats, he has 6 goals in 33 apps in 2019/20, he had 7 goals in 33 Apps again in 2020/21, and he has 2 goals in 15 Apps this season. He is worth of a consideration.
The final man in the frame is Ajax left back NicolΓ‘s Tagliafico. Unlike Hernendez, he will be cheaper option, at 28 entering his prime, have CL experience, knows how to win. He thicks many boxes.
But at the moment my belief is, Lucas Digne is our best option in this mid season transfer, and he is out of favour at his current club. I was reading that Everton are interested to sign Barkley in January, why not use him as a bait? It’s Tuchel and Marina’ s call though.π

Well, I have to say that was a huge goal for Lukaku and the result was huge for Chelsea. it was an impressive 45-minute display. he gave us a focal point in attack. against Pulisic, Villa was comfortable. but once Lukaku came on, we took our game a notch higher. also, CHO gave us the width and skill we have been lacking.

I was reading that Chilwell is back on light training in the gym and is targeting mid January return. That is the best news i have heard recently. We missed him more than any other player. Since we lost him, we haven’t kept a clean sheet. Also, i’m reading Kante and Chalobah are back. That will ease the load from Jorginho though. We will be stronger once again. But my only worry is Lukaku not firing all cylinders.
