This game is evenly poised, that is the best Spurs line up. Wether they have the spirit to fight is another matter.

Well, i can’t see anyone catching Liverpool on current form. This title is Liveepool’s title to lose. I can’t see them losing unless there is a miracle. They have good leaders who have done it before.

Complacency could be our greatest downfall. Currently, we sit second in the league on goal difference, trailing Liverpool by seven points after 14 matches. Last season at this point, we were in tenth place. If this disparity starts to affect the players’ mindset, we may struggle. However, if we bring the same motivation and determination we showed against Aston Villa and Southampton, we have a strong chance of success.
Despite their recent struggles, Spurs remain a formidable opponent with several talented players who can pose a serious threat. The likes of Johnson, Kulusevski, Son, Madison, and Solanke are particularly dangerous, and I trust that Maresca won’t underestimate them. Our defense is not one of the best in the world; it always has mistakes in it. For this reason, I would prefer to see a partnership of Caicedo and Lavia, with Palmer positioned ahead of them. I would choose Madueke and Neto on the wings, Gusto and Cucurella as fullbacks, and Colwill and Tosin as center-backs, though I suspect Badiashile will get the nod.

Well, Liverpool played well; you don’t score 3 goals away to Newcastle if you are not playing well. Use your title competitors as a benchmark; how have they fared when they went to St. James Park? City drawn, Arsenal lost. Liverpool have a world-class player in Salah and a world-class defender in VVD, and that will be in their favour. The Leaders in this Liverpool team have done it and know how to win, while the City team is aging and the Arsenal team has yet won anything. If I were a Liverpool fan, I would be optimistic about the future. It’s now or never for Liverpool.

It has been a good night for Chelsea; we have scored 5 goals, again another goal for Palmer; also, Sancho scored his first goal for the club; Nkunku scored; and Madueke scored. I can’t complain. we are on the right track to challenge in the top 4. Talk of us being in the title race is rubbish. It’s Liverpool’s title to lose. Despite their draw, it was a good point for them. It’s always very tough to play Newcastle away. They have a 7-point lead. City also drawn there; Arsenal lost. So it’s not the end of the world to draw at St. James Park. If I were a Liverpool fan, I would be happy with this point.
It’s still very early to talk, yes, but as things stand, it’s Liverpool’s title to lose, and I can’t see them losing unless they have a catastrophic collapse. As long as they keep Salah and VVD, they will be fine.

More of the same in the second half, please. Our flops are stepping this season. That is two in two for Fernandez, and for Jackson, that is eight in 13 games. Although Palmer is not at his best, collecting an assist is good. We are no longer a Palmer-reliant team, and credit goes to where it’s due; Maresca is done well.

It was a good win for Chelsea, should have been a bigger scoreline, but i would take the 3 points, that flop was also man of the match today and all of a sudden pundits are signing his praises after slaughtering him in the last few weeks. I think he deserves his flowers today. Nice to have all of these options. Fofana is worrying me every time we play. He is an accident waiting to happen. He was lucky today, on another day, that penalty would have been given.
Jackson seems to be on the right path now. 7 goals and 3 assists in 12 PL games is not bad for a flop. And at 23 he will get better and better. I’m concerned that teams are targeting Palmer to take him out of the game, and they are resorting to getting him injured. It happened at United, and it happened today, and worryingly, officials don’t seem to take any action.

It was a good point for Chelsea, given that we are still on the path to recovery. What makes it even better is that we fell behind once again and came back instantly. That shows what we lacked in defence we made up for in attack. with almost a third of the league gone, we are sitting third albiet on goal difference, considering we were 14th at this stage last season, which shows tremendous improvement. So far we have played, Liverpool, Newcastle, United, and Arsenal on the trot, and we only lost to Liverpool. I don’t feel shame losing to the league leaders.
We have another International break, and in a good position, fingers are crossed we don’t get injuries from some key players like Palmer, Caidcedo, and Colwill. As for the rest, we can manage them. our competitors except Newcastle and United have dropped points.

I didn’t say we have injuries, you need to read what i posted and fully understand. Our regular back four includes 3 players who were injured a portion of last season. Fofana didn’t play since 2022/23 season, Reece was similar, and Colwill also missed close to 4 months of last season. That doesn’t mean i’m making an excuse. Also you can’t compare City to Chelsea, City had a manager who has been there for 8 years, have a settled team. Whereas Chelsea was in crisis just recently in the first game of the season, but that shows how people art carried away every time we have 1 or 2 results.
Last season, many people who have said Chelsea would have a good result if they avoid defeat. And the spending? Players must settle and adjust to their surroundings, Caicedo is showing that, Lavia is overcoming his injuries, Cucurella has shown why we signed him, Fofana is the on the bath to recovery. The only player we will have massive loss is Fernanadez. If the coach can achieve top 4 in his first year, then we will be fine, and getting keeper who is an upgrade to Sanchez will help push us further up the table. Anyway tgis time last season, Chelsea was written off and now people are getting carried away. Keep calm, we are not yet there, but we are on the right path.

Not losing Arsenal will be a good result considering 80% of our current back four/five were injured most last season, and some didn’t even play last season. therefore, I would be happy to take the 3 points or if not 1 point is good, considering we played Pool, Newcastle, United and Arsenal in the last 4 league games.
We will have a run of much easier fixtures after the break, but so far, so good for us. I hope we avoid injuries, and if we can’t avoid them, not on the scale we had last season. Anyway, we will give the Gunners a run for their money on Sunday.

The problem with Chilwel is that he is a traditional fullback who goes up and down in on the wing. But football has evolved in the last 20 years. The emergence of Guardiola has turned that its head. These days fullbacks are expected to go into midfield had distribute, something that Chilwel can’t do, but Cucurela has done it time and time.

Enzo and Mudyrk are two very bad business deals that Chelsea has made, and no club gets its business 100% correct. I’m glad part of these two, the rest of the team looks excellent. The midfield looks loaded and our wingers are beginning to take shape. Our striker is also showing signs of promise with 6 goals and 3 assists. Also, our defence showing signs of improvement, although they are not yet there. One stupid mistake from our terrible keeper let us down today. If I was offered to be where we are before the season has started, I would have chopped off your hand.

People are saying Chelsea was disappointing today, are they forgetting that Chelsea’s last 3 games were Liverpool, Newcastle and United? That is the team’s energy drained. we did well to collect 4 from 9, and we nearly got something at Anfield. we are still rebuilding, and Maresca has been here for only 3 months and people are already getting carried away. we are 4th in the league, ahead of Arsenal and Villa. I can’t complain. it was a good point away from home for us and was a classic goal by that flop, don’t remember his name. we need to take one game at a time, Next is against Arsenal, which is not an easy game. Anything other than a loss is a good result.

It has been a very good win for Chelsea, and a hard fought one. Our attack always bails out our defence. There haa been a few of the boys who put in a master class, Captain Reece has been superb, Palmer is always Palmer, 7 goals and 5 assists this season and only 1 coming feom spot.Jackson dis great, he has 6 goals and 3 !
Assists.I thought Lavia was great until he got tired due to his long inury spell. Neto is proving his worth now. Madueke is now looking over his shoulder.
On the other hand, every time Sanchez receives the ball, he nearly gives me a heart attack. Also,i’m not comfortable with Fofana yet. Levi Colwill has also room for improvement.

Well, it,s a bad decision from West Ham to sack Moyes and appoint Lapategui. At least under Moyes you know their style of play and were consistently a top half side. Now ths guy, doesn’t have a style, and their football is awful to watch. They sacked Moyes because they wanted attacking football, at least under Moyes, they were a very hard team to beat. Now they are easy to beat.it was a terrible decision replacing him in the first place

I’m just asking myself, is ETH normal? I don’t know how Rashford started that game ahead of Amad? And how Zirkezee ahead of Hojlland? Granacho should have played on the left and Amad on the right, and they would have had a balanced team. Why didn’t he start with Casamirofor this game because of his expeirence?
Now United has to sack him because of his personal ego. He has forced the club to take a £50m loss on a player they could be utising him now. And looking at how he is playing since he left for Chelsea puts ETH on the spot.

Well if you remove the two howlers from Sanchez, this game would have been a very good game for us. Once gain we have scored 4 goals against a top team, and i’m hearing that Brighton were awful today. This has become a trend now, every time we have a fantastic result, they say the team was awful. They did it against Wolves, they said same against West Ham, now they are saying the same thing.
I now see why Chelsea extended Palmer’s contract. This boy is on his way to becoming top player soon. 4 more goals again, superb free kick and could have had another if his concentration was ok.
I really don’t like Madueke’s attitude. He cost the team goals. He is selfish and wants to score, even when it seems impossible. I hope Maresca has a word with him or drops him.

A bit too early to claim we are back. But we are on a bath to recovery. The game against Liverpool will tell has how strong our attack is, Liverpool has the best defensive record in the division so far, and anything we get from them is a bonus. On the other hand our defense still looks suspect, every time opponents attack you would feel they have a good chance in scoring, and the Liverpool attack is fearsome, despite the loss of Mane and Firminho, they are still very strong.
I’m liking from what i see so far, Jackson seems to be on the right track and is sharing goal scoring burden with Palmer. Caicedo is also coming good since Maresca was appointed, i think he is Playing to his strengths.
