Dive or no dive Jota certainly helped change the game. We actually played some very good stuff and would have been out of sight by HT if we could finish the chances.
Shout out to some of less glamorous players who again did well, Jones, Gomez and Endo.

Have to agree with that Ed. Liverpool fans would be up in arms if against us or done by a city or utd player. Was a tiny bit of contact but the dive was embarrassing.

That would mean Jones to DM and he is much better pressing further up. Don’t just look at what Endo can and cannot do, look at what he enables his team mates to do also.

Endo to be replaced by whom Nil? I wanted Trent to play DM but now Gomez is in at LB there’s no one to play RB unless you put the inexperienced Bradley in.
Must be pretty enjoyable for thr natural, two top teams going for it. You have to respect Arsenal they have played some good stuff.

One thing all the top teams have or can turn on when needed is intensity. Dont think I have seen that in a Utd team since Fergie, at least not consistenly. From what I read Ten Hag favours this sort of style but clearly isnt getting it out from the players.
Until Utd change their whole indentity I dont think it matters who is manager. The problems I suspect lie a level above that role.

That’s a valid point Sean, it’s not like City were robbed of a legimate goal there was still lots to do. As you said Grealish isn’t the quickest and he was still far from the goal. Plus the Spurs keeper is one of the best in the PL. I think the CB would get back or at least commit a red card foul to stop him.
Rodri and Grealish banned for the trip to Villa? Tough match, have City ever gone 4 games without a win since Pep took over?

It was a truly bad decision no doubt. The ref at first signals play on then blows when Grealish is clearly 1 on 1. Ref have a draw down with the bookies?
Totally wrong by the ref but this is a very rare occurance with City. You’re still well in credit when it comes to ref mistakes!
Haaland was bang out of order. Can understand his frustration but he showed aggression probably exaggerated by his imposing size and ogre looking features! Could and should be a match ban or two coming for him. If VvD received a one match ban and 100k fine for telling the ref to F off Haaland should at least get the same.

Adlab what’s that, the first bad decision for you this season? Try being anyone of the other contenders! Try being Wolves! Over the last few seasons not team has benefitted more from ref decisions than City. You even won titles from it and this season have a number of refs effectively on your payroll.
I find it hilarious when City fans try and make out they’re hard done by.

With the final in Dublin, can you imagine the scenes if Utd drop into the EL and both them and Liverpool meet in the final?! Don’t think it will happen,think Utd will be having midweeks off very soon, but what an atmosphere that would be!

Ed I think you missed the “s” off the end of mistake.1st and 3rd his positioning were dreadful, nowhere near what youd expect from a top keeper. This attribute is what separates great keepers from the rest and often why the best don’t make great YouTube highlight reels! They just are so often in the right place at the right time. Onana, well I’m not sure where he was covering for the first and third was starting too central and beaten at his near post.
Don’t think anything needs to be said about the 2nd, the media are having a field day.

Just seen the fulham penalty. How can the officials with so much technology get something so wrong. If its a one off then maybe you can understand but every week there’s sla decision that you just cannot comprehend as a fan.

Great player when fit but not mobile enough for Liverpool. Technically as sound as they come.
Correct me if I’m wrong but don’t spurs visit City next? A game every team is expected to lose, and if that comes true then that’ll be 4 defeats in a row. How honeymoon periods often come crashing down!

You’ve mentioned that a few times but I never saw it. OK maybe one or two idiots on TT but there’s one who screams for Klopp and/or the “Yankees” to go after any game we’ve dropped points. I think Liverpool fans and Klopp have an affinity and that’s because we can see what he’s trying to do. We all knew at that time what problems the team were facing with crazy defensive issues.

I think we’ve all already said it! It’s crazy how that club has been run under this tenure. Talk of getting Osimhen in Janaury which will be another 100m I guess. With all that spent on a team like Chelsea you’d have to say CL qualification is minimum. Can’t see Poch lasting the season.

Form is relative and I believe utds good form coincides with an easy run of games that any top 6 side would expect to do well. The times they’ve been up against decent sides in City and Newcastle they were badly outclassed.
