Thought it was clear I’m not in the UK?

Nine not sure how I can say it any clearer…
THEY PAY THE PL THE RIGHTS!!! ITS 100% LEGAL
Same as sky, BT or Amazon from whenever they do, but this is just for the mentioned countries. Google it if you still think youre right (No idea why you know nothing about them!)
They also have the rights to most European leagues, only the bundesliga is delayed as sky have that live.
The UK gets screwed for sport, has done for a while. But elsewhere arond the world there are legal broadcasters that show for good value. Even if I was interested in watching bundesliga over here I’d need a sky account and then add 10eur undesliga package for every single match. And I mean every single one, no matter what kick off time, on about 10 channels.

Yes 9 it does. Its very much legal, trust me I know my stuff with this. It even has the top boxing matches that you lot need to pay a premium for. And all the NBA, NFL UFC and any other 3 letter acronym you can think of.
Its only available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria i think. As I said, sky.de has bought the rights for next season which is a shame. Maybe if you got a vpn you could get it. I pay on a monthly rolling contract with PayPal. I have it on my Amazon box, mobile app and works in browser too.

I use dazn which is 100% legal and has nearly all LFC games plus many more (seria A, la Liga, Usa, france, just about everywhere!)and lots of other sport. They call it the Netflix of sport and at only 10eur a month it’s great value too. Only problem for you lot is it’s only available in the German speaking countries, whilst I’m ok I guess you’d need a VPN, so not sure how that affects the legality.
Sadly next season I think they lose the premier league to sky.de. shame it really is a great service.

Man City have a great team. Players like Aguero, KDB, David Silva, Sterling are world class players but if you take them out City still have very, very good back up players to come in. Miss Fernandinho however and there is no one near that quality to come in for that role. Not the same with the full backs, I don’t think the first choice are that good defensively (they don’t usually need to be) so the back up are bound to be worse and it sounds like CP and LC both exploited this.
Big pressure on City for the LFC game next week.

Maybe we need a “Sean… now do you believe?” thread? ?
Fully understand where you’re coming from but I’m just going to enjoy it. Sure we could mess it up and other fans will give us hell especially with our it’s our year reputation. But it’s only a game, and a game should be enjoyed, and at the moment Liverpool are giving me a lot of fun.
Good for the premier league that we have a title race. Can see three teams getting over 85 points. The consistency and standard of the top 5 teams is outstanding this year.

They’re still not lucky situations Nine, scoring in injury time often takes some doing, even it pains me to acknowledge a positive Man Utd trait.
Anyway we are moving away from the original post… So Oz now do you believe?

Luck generally evens itself out, it was against us vs Arsenal with Mane’s goal. Man city and Everton were lucky I agree, but not Chelsea. We could of been out of sight if we taken our chances, so could Chelsea. Was a great game and 1-1 was about right but scoring a perfectly legitimate goal that relied on skill rather than good fortune well within the allocated time is not luck.
Think luck with injuries is more important to a title winning team than anything else.

Never understand that scoring a goal late in the game was lucky. Yes the Everton one was as it can’t be expected that their keeper would make such a mistake, but vs Chelsea? Lucky how? That we scored near the end, how does that change anything? We we be less lucky if we scored it 5 minutes earlier?

I actually missed it, wasn’t being shown in Germany. First match in think I’ve missed this season.
Very happy about Keita. People say we miss Coutinho but I say we miss Ox more with his directness, ability to change the pace during transition and to commit players. I really hope Keita can fill this void.

Aussie you have been saying for a long time our luck will run out and no doubt one day you will be right, but why the eternal pessimism? Each to their own and all that but I will never understand a fan who goes into a match feeling already defeated. We are still there with City and yeah they may pull away at some point but so far they haven’t. I’m going to enjoy this while I can.

Think this is going to be a great match. Got a feeling we will go 433 and press the bejeezus out of them. But, they have quality all over the park so im predicting a 2-2 draw which will benefit neither team.

I think most LFC fans would be disappointed with Henderson, the second yellow was stupid and completely avoidable. Not only could it put us under increased pressure but he will also miss the derby next weekend. Up until that point, he played ok, breaking up a number of attacks and keeping us ticking over in midfield.
Thought the front 3 made another step towards last years form, which can only bode well for the rest of the season if they keep improving

Mak, I dont think Solanke is too bad a shout. He is full of confidence after 4 goals for England U21 and I’d sooner trust him than Sturridge. Sturridge should be an impact player for the last 20 mins when the oppositions legs are tired.
Watford play a possession 4-4-2 which you’d think would be ideal for our pressing game to face. I think if we have two sitting midfielders they should cope then that would leave our “no 10” with a lot of space between their lines. Last match they played Isaac Success and Deulofeu up top which are both pacey forwards but Gomez and VvD have plenty of pace themselves. They also have Troy Deeney as an alternative but don’t think our defenders are easily bullied by such players anymore.

Hightown, haha! Ironic thing is I think during the years of being a TT member that was the only thread I ever created!
Not sure when I started there, 10-15 years ago maybe? Whilst I rarely posted I read a lot, from the arrogant and rather nasty agenda against Lucas by a couple of well known posters to the very funny baiting posts by Joseph from Yemen or whatever he was called. He had me laughing out loud almost every time!

Regarding the Henderson thread my intention was to create a well balanced debate whilst the international break was on but sadly it turned into a bit of playground. After Aussie took offence to one of my comments (Sorry, I really did not mean it come out the way it did!) I asked the editor to close the thread. I got no reply. It should of been closed a lot earlier but as mentioned here already the editorial staff are letting the site down.
So apologies to anyone that was involved in that damn thread!

Not looking forward to this one. First of all it’s a lunch time kick off and we seem to struggle with these. Plus we will probably rest a few key players and the ones that do play might have their mind on next week. I would defiantly rest Salah, Henderson to play as suspended next week and probably Gini too, with Can still injured. At the back not much choice on centrebacks but maybe Clynn and Moreno to get games, although Robertson doesn’t look like he needs to rest! I’d consider taking Firmino out also as he’s going to be very important next week, or at least look to sub him early.
Karius
Clynn – Lovern – VVD – Moreno/Robertson
Milner – Hendo – Gini
Ox – Solanke – Maneor alternatively rest Milner, drop Ox back and play Ings.
