Chucky how about talking about football like an adult and not use silly nicknames like a 10 year old would? Might be too much to ask seeing your previous form.

Well a game being replayed has happened before as I am sure any Arsenal or Sheff Utd fan will remember although that was the FA Cup. However I do wish Klopp kept that comment to himself, if the club wants to go down that route keep it to themselves.
I only hope this can be used as return of experience when looking at how to improve VAR. I think Mikus’s suggestion of clear unambigous statements to confirm either a goal or no goal would go a long way, do not leave anything open to inturpretation.
If you employ idiots you need to make the system they are using idiot proof!

Management and recruitment are often both to blame, but usually only the management that gets the bullet. Who is making the transfer decisions? There seems a few ex-Ajax players that would suggest ETH is having a major influence, but to me the entire system is flawed.
They should have listened more to what Ralf was saying! I think Utd need a DoF, transfer team and management that can work towards a common system, that share similar views on styles, players, required attributes etc. All seems a little disjointed.

Assistant referee 1: “All good. Both holding. Both holding”
Referee: “Yeah, leave it alone.”
Assistant referee 1: “Waiting. Delaying, delaying.”
VAR: “Possible offside, Diaz.”
Assistant referee 2: “Give it.”
Assistant referee1: “Coming back for the offside, mate.”
VAR: “Just checking the offside. Delay, delay.”
VAR: “Give the kick point, let’s go. Kick point please?”
Referee: “Yeah, no worries mate.”
Replay operator: “So, here we are.”
Referee: “Wait.”
Replay operator: “Just get a tight angle.”
VAR: “Yeah give me 2D line ready after this one from frame two after that.”
Replay operator: “So frame two there?”
VAR: “That’s fine. Perfect, yeah. 2D line on the left boot.”
Replay operator: “Let me just switch angles.”
VAR: “Romero, I think it is?”
Replay operator: “I think it might be this angle better? Happy with this angle?”
VAR: “Yep.”
Replay operator: “2D line on the boot?”
VAR: “2D line on the boot.”
Replay operator: “Yep, okay. So 2D line on the boot.”
VAR: “And stop. Check complete, check complete. That’s fine, perfect.”
Assistant referee 1: “Playing.”
Referee: “Cheers mate.”
VAR: “Thank you mate.”
Referee: “Well done boys, good process.”
Replay operator: “Wait, wait, wait, wait. The on-field decision was offside. Are you happy with this?”
Assistant VAR: “Yeah.”
Replay operator: “Are you happy with this?”
Assistant VAR: “Offside, goal, yeah. That’s wrong that, Daz.”
VAR: “What?”
Replay operator: “On-field decision was offside. Are you happy with this image? Yeah, it is onside. The image that we gave them is onside.”
Assistant VAR: “He’s playing him, he’s gone offside.
VAR: “Oh (expletive)”
Replay operator: “Delay, delay. Oli (PGMOL Hub Ops) saying to delay, Oli’s saying to delay.”
VAR: “Pardon?”
Replay operator: “Oli’s calling in to say delay the game. The decision is onside.”
VAR: “Can’t do anything.”
Replay operator: Oli’s saying to delay, Oli’s saying to delay.”
VAR: “Oli?”
Fourth official: “Yeah.”
Replay operator: “Delay the game, to delay the game? Stop the game.”
VAR: “They’ve started the game. Can’t do anything, can’t do anything.”
Assistant VAR: “Yeah they’ve restated. Yeah. No.”
VAR: “I can’t do anything. I can’t do anything. (Expletive).”

Not used to seeing Burnley play good football! Quite the change in style since their last time in the PL.

City fans have no right ever calling another team or players cheats. Your lot have cheated every other team and fans for over a decade.
Just seen the incident, exaggerated fall yes but certainly a red. You cannot put your hands on someone’s throat like that.

Saw bits of the Munich v utd game and thought neither we particularly good. Munich looked fairly weak at the back which is not something you’d normally associate with them. Going forward they have pace and trickery in abundance however and I really like Musiala. Another Chelsea youth player going on to be an absolute superstar!
Speaking of superstar Bellingham already is one. It was never a question of a few extra million versus the Caicedo cost as there were other costs not declared. Plus the biggest impact of all, he was always going to Madrid as they will remain the top draw in world for players, liverpool were never really in with a chance. Have to say the move is working well for him and not sure who makes them but his career decisions are spot on.

You won almost everything last season. You then added arguably the most sought after young left sided defender in the World. Its just a matter of how big a margin City will win the league by and how early.

You lot should watch the video I posted on the Man City thread, would especially like to hear Adlabs response. Its long at 45 minutes, although that is a good 30 minutes shorter than reading Alfies post.
You do come away thinking how they were allowed to get away with such blatant cheating. Its almost comical.

You know what Nil I can’t be bothered. You clearly have no idea and now somehow championing yourself with your positive views on women’s football. That just tells me how little you understand about the subject.
Go read about it, do what I did and talk to women who have suffered similarly unwanted sexual attention. Actually learn the topic. Or just listen to pricks like Piers Morgan and try and convince yourself you’re in the right. I won’t bother with this any further as there’s no point.

“Adlab, this is it. There are more important matters in our society that need to be addressed.”
This is hilarious. You started the discussion. You are the one on here that started to address the matter. Hypocrisy? There more important things to discuss than this weekends fixtures yet we still discuss them, doesn’t devalue the more important things.
For all the arguments that it wasn’t sexual I can easily counter that with those who say it was. But the only opinion is the victim herself and she has chosen to prosecute so i think i know her opinion on it. I’d take her word on the situation every time over an arsehole like Piers Morgen.

Nil I’m not sure if your just naive or are in fact a chauvinist, I hope it’s the former. Adlab I think we all know which he is, he’s not exactly surprised anyone with his views. That’s probably an age thing and thankfully the younger people can see things in a different way which is why I was disappointed with you opinion Nil.
I opened up the BBC app today, the headline story is about female surgeons being sexuallly assaulted whilst operating. This is just one of many stories that happen every day. You might think this incident was just a kiss in the heat of the moment, but it happened by someone who is kinda her bosses boss so has a power over her, in front of millions in a situation she had zero control over. Millions of women watching what should have been the pinnacle of achievement for this particular lady saw in fact a man with power sexually assault her.
Thankfully the neanderthal views are dying out, but Nil come on, give your head a wobble. If you can’t see the damage his actions did then I think you’re falling into the 2nd category I earlier mentioned.

I don’t think you’ve grasped the situation at all and sadly there are far too many men out there with your mindset still. Very disappointing from you Nil.
Losing his job should have happened that very night and the least he should expect.

The draw at Chelsea was a good result but poor performance, we were exposed many times. Didn’t see the Bournemouth game so cannot comment. Newcastle was odd as we looked to be caught again like the Chelsea game until we had a man sent off and actually looked more solid. Klopp started that game with the wrong tactics but changed them and introduced the right subs at the right time. Yesterday we were very good, as Sean says first time for a while. Szoboszlai looks a great addition.
Utd look a bit all over the place, as do Chelsea but I think we could have all predicted that with all their signings. If they click they should be good. Arsenal look OK but I don’t get Havertz as a signing, he just looks slow and no fight. Spurs have started well with a new manager but as we know they will spurs it all up sooner or later, they are no threat for 2nd.
Newcastle have been poor, 3 losses already before the demands of the CL stretches their squad. Could the pressure start to build already for Howe?

Adlabs words were “very temping for owners” I was merely pointing out it’s nothing to do with them. Any reinvestment of such riches would be made below their level and of course it opens up many possibilities. However for ever Coutinho moment with VvD, Alisson etc there’s always a Suarez with Ricky Lambert and Balotelli!

The owners would have nothing to do with selling salah, they would not see a penny of it directly.
200m would go into the club. Would that increaee the value of the club? A lot of money sure but youve also lost a very valuable asset.
FsG do not put money directly into the club and do not take money out. They don’t finance transfers or get involved in the dealings. Their goal is to see thr club value grow to increase their profits when they eventually sell. Not sure losing your main asset is the best way to do that.

If it was offered at the beginning of the transfer window it might have accepted but no chance to get anyone in now.
Even less chance if the Saudis offer more after tonight’s window mind…
