Its an odd situation, we have some gifted players and lots and lots of dross, especially defensivly
we have not been good defensivly for a very long time and no one has addressed this key issue

little has changed and frankly we need a real overhaul, not just of the team but the ethos within the club, we need a mentality change, it could come from a manager, but it would need to be supported by the board and owner

we are not terrible but we are very average, Emerys first season though and things take time, will wait a bit longer but i also think he makes some odd team selections, cant genuinley see us beating united this Sunday either but would be a nice tonic, maybe the lads can actually turn up for this one at least.

As for Ozil, he is past it now, unless a team is literally moulded around him to play to his strengths and cover his weaknesses, he does cover ground but he will never stick his foot in! he needs to go along with a good few others

we seem a team of misfits these days

Dissapointing result last night, especially the last gasp 3rd but Rennes played well
hopefully we can turn it around at hime once we beat united!

any ball to hand incident becoming a penalty is worrying, if teams are clever they will just start smashing balls at players from close range around the box and get loads of penalties!

also to be fair, to say a paid pundit on any broadcaster especially sky is not their voice is false, otherwise they would still have Andy Grey and Carragher on 😉

they may want to stir the pot but can only go so far or they ruin the reputation of the broadcaster…

Franly if we are honest it was great result but also a lucky one, though you need luck at times, reading the united page on the other forum and youd think they had just won the whole thing!

OGS has done more than get results he has instilled a different charachter to this team and makes me nervous for sunday
