very interesting league this year, the top 2 going toe to toe and theother 2 places so close for 4 teams, some great results for mid table teams like wolves and Leicester

the thing is 999, George (Formby) we could very easily win this game and the 2 legs but we could also very easily play like we did against Everton!! and our defence is really bad, above all else i hope this gets sorted in the summer, but i have doubts that we will and i have dounts about some of the teams Emery starts with like against Everton…. but time will tell, just hope for a less boring match than the last 2 this week!

anyway,Bara were very poor all over the pitch for me, united played better than i thought and did well without really doing anything…not one single shot on goal though, not a single one…thats poor

McTomminay was very good last night, you might even have a player there…

2 games watched this week, 2 dissapointing boring games, the Arsenal tonight, likely to be less boring and likely to lose heaqvily lol 🙂

maybe they shoulod do away with hand ball all together but the also keepers but have any player be able to handle the ball, 11 outfield players ;)…maybe bigger goals though 🙂

of course they are changing the game and its not the first time, they changed the off side rule to stop goal hnagers, they have done much, we as fans will nveer agree on all things or all decisions but what we can say is officiating is crap because the rules are to ambiguous….im not saying its the best thing to happen but it does (at least should) take all ambiguity away, it wont stop last minute sliding tackles at all, it just means IF the ball hits an arm of the slider stopping a goal its a penalty and i frankly do agree with that….had a discussion with 999, on the other site, what i can see happening with clever players/teams is them deliberatly lifting the ball or striking the ball in the box in such a way as to increase chances of hitting an arm…unfair…YES…but it IS the same for all so no advantage one way or the other, removes special treatment of bigger teams IF the rules are applied concistantly…and thats the real issue

iMikus, I agree to a degree, he slid in his hands were where they were and the ball hit his hand, but it did stop a likely goal, as long as the rule is consistant for all tteams then i actually dont mind and will be happy with a few more goals going in and some high scoring matches, the difference will be when even with VAR the rule is not consistant, i think they are basically trying to take away any ambiguity what so ever

i actually thought was a hell of a boring game to watch for the (not so) neutral……

Jenas was woeful last night, totally biased commentary, gald i wasnt the only one to think so…why dont they keep former players away from punditry of these games?

not all over but i think the number of games are starting to affect City now….few injuries and fatigue…
