i dont think anyone is saying he isnt a good manager, the question is (anf the points you have made yourself above) is, IF they spend and how much, he has been restricted, very much like AW was in the early years, so its not so much him as Levy….has he got the most he can out of this group of players? i think so….will they have money (and enough money) to spend and compete now with the stadium?
remember lots of other teams will be spending big so not staying in place and or rebuilding…so will they get the players they really want and need? and if not then for him as a manager what then? he was won nothing….im sure he wants to, im sure he wants to at Spurs…unlikley to happen unless Levy supports him and even then it may be to late, let alone the 10 years to change mentality comment…_____________________________

i just dont see Varane going anywhere, and the money you need for the summer i can see your accountants selling Pogba, then i can also see them getting Bale as Ed has always been a fan, though i agree with you mate it would be a very bad signing and not what you need, always liked Kroos, but not seen much about him in his RM tenure, why do they want rid if he is any good?
Courtois id stear well clear of, he was shocking the last season at Chelsea and handled himself badly, then shocking at RM and is not liked in the slightest by fans, good on his day and could and should have moved on but i think he had regressed….he is no De Gea thats for sure, so straight away the team is worse than the year before and withut Varan or a player of that ilk then you will still have Smalling and Jones in front of him and young at RB π
we have been linked with a fair few players as all clubs are but i have actually liked many of them even though they are the “tier below” but its got to be time to be brave and get younger talent in and stay away from rejects…_____________________________

Barca scored 2 late goals to get a 4-4 draw with villareal last night who are only just above the relegation zone, so not as imperious as they could be…..

lot of respect for wolves, they have played so well for a first PL season, and have an FA Cup match to think of but still went out to win though united helped them to be fair….
i was watching the BBC match thread and some of the comments were so funny!
Jones is signed up for the next 5 years already as are many other dross…
Zidane has also said he doesnt want to seea madrid without varane and is going no where, unless his Β£500m buy out is met (half a billion on one player????)
so in any player swap deal i think you can discount him, but looks like courtois is of and so is bale, maybe Kroos….if you lost Pogba and De GEA, would those 3 make you feel good? i wouldnt if i was a united fan

well now, a nice win that
3rd place at least for a few days
999 im not sure and it is odd, but then its odd he is going, since he got his move to Juve he has been one of our best and most consitant players, maybe its a nod to his professionalsim and how well he has been doing for his last year with us and maybe the rest of the lads are happy with thati think we will see a fair few changes in the summer, money spent but but on the lower tier of players than other teams as we do need a considerable rebuild in certain areas, will be interesting to see, thenonce he is gone a new capatain…

1st April 2019 at 3:04 pm in reply to: Artist, architect, revolutionary, how Thierry Henry transformed English football #36638not even close considering he was just an injured passenegr and the RM fans hate him π
he is basically like John Terry when he collected the cup after putting on a kit
bahahahahahaha, and there is you my little mashed potatoe, defending a player that left you at his first chance becasue he know you would win nothing and you got ripped off in you “special” realationship with RM too, because you cant say anything else a to a post that has just shooled you, your tin pot club AND liverpool in one…..keep diggin, there are more spuds in there

1st April 2019 at 2:49 pm in reply to: Artist, architect, revolutionary, how Thierry Henry transformed English football #36634Blimey, you go for a drink at lucnh at look what happens!
he had his turned? when Nil, when he had already given so much to us and turned down many offers and the club and wenger had changed and stopped investing, what happened after our unbeaten PL?
no arsenal fan thinks bad of him for going, and he won with Barca
the man was as loyal as the club allowed him to be ….
he was NOT a mercanary as many are…..and to say Cantona was a one club man is stupid beyond belief!
Sir Harry? The Arsenal fan? lets see how how long he stays winning nothing, you have done well to keep him but will it last? maybe and maybe credit or maybe lack of ambition on his part as many English players have, he gets payed well, is worshipped, the biggest fish in his very small pond (all be it a shiney new pond) but can he COMPETE with better players? Bale tried and he is not well thought of, Linekar did it…very few do and most fail so maybe he likes what he has and being close to family….
Henry is a club legend and well done to him for being smart enough and ambitious enough to want mnore and not ” settle”….
He moved to Barca when 30…the last hurrah

My theory is that they are actually a team a team from Venus as that planet has approximately 2 thirds the number of days per year than Earth ans so they are actually quite there as they dont have to choke for the last third…. π

I borrowed this from “elsewhere”…..
Interesting stat, Harry Kane was injured and missed 5 league games and spurs won all 5. He returned for the Burnley game, since his return Spurs havenβt won in 5 league games, picking up up a single point out of a possible 15.

is it other clubs fault your tin pot team and chairman refuse to spend on the playing staff? still im sure it makes you feel the much bigger man knowing that your cheaper team can compete with the big boys for at least 2 thirds of a season before tanking π
moral high ground is always more preferable to trophies rihgt? π

you can legislate for GK errors when they said keeper is prone to them, becuase he is prone to them!
that said i didnt think Pools keeper had one of his better days either, he was just luckier and had great defenders…both keepers kept mishandling and looked shaky and pushing the ball in to dangerous areas, for the OG was it just me or was that ball from the Salah header easier to catch than not, was hardly the most powerful of headers…_____________________________

its ok, as Poch says they only need another 10 years to change their mentality, and with the heavey investment they get form Dan with there somewhat ridiculously priced shiney new copy stadium im sure that in 10 years you will see a different beast….
i jest of course as is till dont think you will π
