If you were Barca youd go for the throat at home and the fans would demand it….

Chuckle Brother…the way we are playing at the moment we could lose heavily so probably worth a watch from your perspective π

funny cos its true π
seriously other than a few minutes here and there it was either very quiet or you could hear Ajax fans, you just have to accept us we and many other have with our new toys that the increase in capacity just means more corporate and tourist “supporters” and less noise….
considering the bare bones squad though and the bench that made me spit me tea out…not the worst result and a few players back by next week might be enough (fingers crossed not though;) )
and can someone please tell me when Disco started being and actually decent player?!

Nice to see Ajax get a win in the CL in their shiny new stadium, their home display and loud fans made the place rock….shame the spuds away fans were so quiet for the majority though….:)

he should go? no thats silly, the CL is not easy to win no matter how much money has been spent, Barca didnt win every year with one of the best teams ever, Rm won 3 in a row and were shocking and lucky for 2 of those…..they will only replace Pep when Pep decides he wants to move on….and who would they bring in?
Mav i think you having a wee joke with our blue friends on here!!

lets clear this up….it hit his arm…YES, then his hip…was it handball? NO not THIS season, this season they are using Silhouette rules…..his arm was in no way doing anything that could be construed has hand ball, especially for a bloske leaping in the air……
next season where ANY ball to hand hand to ball contact nmeans penalty….
suck it up adlab, i feel for you mate i really do ANY one of us if that was our team on either decision would be upset as in years gone by you would have won and been through, but times they are a changing, like it or not

well, what to say, breathtaking, game of the season if not ever….pure emotion….
sticks in my throat to say but, if i was a spuds fan i would be very proud of my team, so many knocks to keeo coming back away from home
City lads, i have no words, id also be proud but as equally upset!
VAR, it both killed and yet made an already amazing game and taking one step further, as hard as it was as long as decisions are correct we cant complain….
one of the best games ive ever seen (attacking wise) defence…. looked like both teams borrowed ours for the night!!

George…
Arsenal: Rumored not to have a lot of cash to start with to rebuild that dodgy defenseβ¦
even if we do scrape up a few quid it wont be spent in defence! it rarely is and then its shocking (Mustafi)

“On the stroke of half-time Lionel Messi did something awful, but also quite funny, to Phil Jones. Messi had spent the previous 45 minutes picking up the ball in half-spaces and running in a series of vengeful repetitions at Jones and Chris Smalling.
This time Messi took the ball just past the centre circle. He saw the space ahead of him. He also saw Jones ahead of him. As the United man veered back into his path there was a nutmeg so gentle it was almost loving.
The Camp Nou let out a roar. Jones surged back gamely but could only watch as Messi jinked past the other way, teasing him the way you might tease a fond, lovable old family dog with a paper cone on its head and one good eye.
Messi shot at goal, looking for a first half hat-trick, but the ball hit David de Gea in the chest and squirted away. Moments later the half-time whistle blew. United were 2-0 down and already looking like a team that had, for now, reached the end of something.”made me chuckle, sorry united lads, its from the Irish Times

well done Ajax, shame for the UNited lads….but it was to be expected, Ole is tanking at the moment and so are the players, its all much of a muchness no matter who the manager to be fair, had Maureen played that squad he would have been lambasted
Pogba, didnt step up (again) De Gea, awful error but he has been so good for so long
Young gifted goals and offered nothing and rashford looked very ordinary….wonder if Barca are having a rethink over spending $100 on him?
Cardiff, great result and will be tough now for pool!
