Blimey, you go for a drink at lucnh at look what happens!
he had his turned? when Nil, when he had already given so much to us and turned down many offers and the club and wenger had changed and stopped investing, what happened after our unbeaten PL?
no arsenal fan thinks bad of him for going, and he won with Barca
the man was as loyal as the club allowed him to be ….
he was NOT a mercanary as many are…..and to say Cantona was a one club man is stupid beyond belief!
Sir Harry? The Arsenal fan? lets see how how long he stays winning nothing, you have done well to keep him but will it last? maybe and maybe credit or maybe lack of ambition on his part as many English players have, he gets payed well, is worshipped, the biggest fish in his very small pond (all be it a shiney new pond) but can he COMPETE with better players? Bale tried and he is not well thought of, Linekar did it…very few do and most fail so maybe he likes what he has and being close to family….
Henry is a club legend and well done to him for being smart enough and ambitious enough to want mnore and not ” settle”….
He moved to Barca when 30…the last hurrah

(35)Chumps, he was no Bale, he was no Suarez or Torres….

My theory is that they are actually a team a team from Venus as that planet has approximately 2 thirds the number of days per year than Earth ans so they are actually quite there as they dont have to choke for the last third…. π

I borrowed this from “elsewhere”…..
Interesting stat, Harry Kane was injured and missed 5 league games and spurs won all 5. He returned for the Burnley game, since his return Spurs havenβt won in 5 league games, picking up up a single point out of a possible 15.

is it other clubs fault your tin pot team and chairman refuse to spend on the playing staff? still im sure it makes you feel the much bigger man knowing that your cheaper team can compete with the big boys for at least 2 thirds of a season before tanking π
moral high ground is always more preferable to trophies rihgt? π

you can legislate for GK errors when they said keeper is prone to them, becuase he is prone to them!
that said i didnt think Pools keeper had one of his better days either, he was just luckier and had great defenders…both keepers kept mishandling and looked shaky and pushing the ball in to dangerous areas, for the OG was it just me or was that ball from the Salah header easier to catch than not, was hardly the most powerful of headers…_____________________________

its ok, as Poch says they only need another 10 years to change their mentality, and with the heavey investment they get form Dan with there somewhat ridiculously priced shiney new copy stadium im sure that in 10 years you will see a different beast….
i jest of course as is till dont think you will π

great weekend of football and if we win tonight i will be very happy indeed and we will be in 3rd!
Cardiff, feel very sorry for them, the level of officiating is so poor in the PL, we really should sort this.
United were lucky but it was a very fergie like display and they got the job done
Pool and Spuds, at first i thought pool had blown it and become the nearly mnen again, but i forgot the were playing the perrinal chokers who really could now finish 6th in a 3 horse race π
not counting my chikens though (pun intended) newcastle have been playing well and wont roll over, exciting end to the season….

of course they could slip up, any team can, if they show last seasons form in the run in then it is very unlikely, if they show there festive form, who knows….but then the same can be said of Liverpool, regardless of who is playing who….the fact is not only is it currently in Citys hands, they have the proven mental fortitude to take the pressure and deliver having done it consistantly recently, much tougher for pool (and the nervous fans)….but you sense IF they do, it might just be the catalyst the team needs to really step up on a consistant level, had Klopp one one of the previous few lost finals the same could have happened….fine margins…

im not so sure myself 999, firstly they have not “bought well” for a hell of a long time, they have also just renewed a whole bunch of contracts for very poor or average players like Jones
they still need to get rid of a lot of deadwood they havent yet renewed if they can and keep the very few real stars worth keeping such as Pogba and De Gea and they will want wages like Sanchez, i do think they will go and spunk a load of dosh in the summer, but the current climate of a CB costing Circa Β£70m, Keepers over Β£100m etc, even a solid Β£250m budget wont strecth far and that IF they identify and get the right players!

maybe to attract players for the summer by them knowing who will be in charge? and keeping senior players like Pogba?
