way to much money for a very average player, only thing sets him apart at united is he actually turns up every match and puts a shift in really, it says more about united than him as any kind of special player, he will do a good job but not worthy of £300k! thats the thing with “free” transfers it can shaft the wages and make it seem a lot when in reality its still less spend than paying £40m and then a smaller wage…

totally agree mate
i agree its wrong and shouldnt have happened (even in “private”)
but lets be honest, we have ALL sung songs in “that” moment of joy and achievment within football that is wrong…i remember Jack Wilshere on a bus giving the Spuds shit!
no one is perfect i just think the level of reaction is over the top IMHO

had they stood in front of camera and sang or were derogatory about you guys then thats different….

maybe its just me and not being connected with either club playing devils advocate…

although what city players did was wrong and they should know and behave better it was done on a plane in “private” until the video came out (social media has much to answer for in general)….im sure half the players didnt know the meaning (real meaning) but they could have done as equally….

just seems to me to suddenly hate them over this and no longer like/respect and bahve this way after it is an over reaction….

as far as the “victim” stuff being used, i can see why it can and has been used with Hillsborough in mind but for a lot of fans that is real history that they know little about due to their age (unless a pool supporter) i think in recent years the “victim” line being used refers to the perceived liverpool supporter Psyche…the slip by Gerrard, the disaloowed goal, the red not given on Salah and so on and the fans reactions to all of these things over many years that make it seem to the outsider they are always the victim of a dodgy decision that has meant they have not won when they could/should have…..

all gets a bit confused i think….

read the words from the link provided….I may be showing my ignorance here (apologies if i am) but to me the words would seem to indicate its a piss take aimed at Liverpool FC and the fans for alwaysw being “victims” and thus not able to win a trophy

its certainly in bad taste, the players clearly picked this up from their fans who have been singing it all season but i still didnt see the “nasty” side from the way i read it it was more a jibe at all the reasons pool feel “robbed”

if that makes sense?

again dont mean any offence to anyone and end of the day shouldnt have happened….

Aston Villa in the final, will it be Leeds or Derby? Be amazing if Frank took them up after one season in charge…but i would love to see leeds back in the PL in general and with their rivalry with united and the current state of united who are no longer all conquering it would make for some tasty games!

so many big temas around europe have to rebuild

Bayern
Juve (always tweaking and losing the manager)
Man U
City woont stand still and are ageing
Pool cant stand still either
Arsenal (if we can find tuppence)
Chelsea (if they dont have the ban)
Spuds (will they spend 50p this year?)

and so on and so forth….

this will show us who is really tactically astute and get those real Gems to improve their teams and squads and who just signs the flavour of the month and knacker bags!

Great finish to a great season, PL won on the last day, all up up for 3rd/4th, 3 joint winners of the Golden Boot (all Africans) ans the most PL goals scored ever….4 british teams in 2 Euro finals…great days

my best of the day esterday was Tony Adams on BT sport…..lots of talk about other teams going close and losing in the PL, Arsenal also only lost 1 game and didnt win…..

when asked Tony Adams said…Yeah but i was in Chelmsford Nick that game we lost so it wasnt my fault, in fact i was an “invincible”….it was very funny 🙂
