maybe thats because he wants to keep it rather than cash in, besides thats the club value, when you take in to what Roman is likely owed on top of the worth of the club its likely why too…

“Hope not, weβd have to build a trophy room and that would ruin our Net-Spend figure! ”
hahahahahahhahahaha now THAT was funny
qudos
“The biggest and baddest question here should be βWhat could the Magic Man do with 1,07 Billion?β ”
depends what club he got it at, i think he would ultimatly fail with to much money (like AW)
its easy to look good where he is under no pressure whats so ever!

oh sorry
yes in that case he is amazng and so is Levy for not investing in a team that with a bit of “dosh” might actually go on to win something to put int their shiney spaceship π

they will dominate in the same way that Chelsea and United did in certasin periods but not to the extent in my view as though they have the bes tmanager and most money its still football which is why EVEN with this they could still end up missing out on PL and CL this year and “only” winning 2 domestic cups which from the position they were in will actually be a poor season, the margins really are that fine and with the top teams soon to play catch up, chelsea will recover at some point, we hopefully will, you guys will continue, Man U will get back up there (hopefully in 20 years or so) and the spuds are doiong things right so all is not as it was for most the PL history in comparison

i have not mentioned liverpool spend Net or otherwise, you hasve spent big and you have spent well, you have though as you say had to sell to do that, my only point is, moaning about city now is not only futile but silly, look at every team that won the PL since inception, year by year, look at those years, squad and player costs and the only ones that have not bought the league was Leicester and Arsenal once or twice (and that being generous and comparing against being up agtainst united and chelsea at various times…

maybe a petition that we all agree that Liverpool are our “second club” and we all secretly have a soft spot for them and they really shopuld be allowed to win a PL and if they do we will all feel much better π

Mak, of course you are right an i mentioned passions were rightly high….
but look at the difference between many of your fans compared to say City fans…they COULD yet still miss PL too as well as CL, this was surely their best year to win the CL….
im sure they are gutted and passionate but you dont see them bemoaning the other team, calling unfair this and that and blaming anyone else for missing out….its a perception thats given off by many (not all) of your fans hhe longer your wait for serious silverware goes on….they would have more right saying we have pep, spent the most etct etc
your team has spent but spent well, have a top manager, play great football and challenge, all you can hope for or any team…..Arsenal won a lot less than we should have during our “good phase” including a CL final loss to Barca!!
football like life is unjust, you didnt deserve to lose 3-0 and played very well, i think it hurts more as this year you can and did compete, last time it was more of a surprise as you still had glaring weaknesses that had yet to be addressed….
i see why both matches are in your mind, but you were not as a good a team last year, playing a lucky RM side that were very poor all round and on the wane far more than this Barca team and who literally cheated as they always do and 2 shocking errors you cant do much about, this time you played better than the oppo, and were unlucky but not unlucky in a dodgy decision way just in a results way…
football….its a tough old world!

999 IF it happens at all then i think it will largely be a good thing, maybe the odd flair up but that would happen regardless, might find that its quite a good experience of both sets of fans travelling together to such far parts of the world

pretty sure both City, and Pool (and several other clubs) speant ridonculous amounts of money the time Leicester won the PL….money helps, its important but to say Pool or anyone else cant or wont win the PL because of City/cash and Pep is silly IMHO
it was the same with Chelsea, they won lots but not every year for a decade…
should I moan because when we actually did manage to win the PL a few times we were up against one of the best PL teams in united who had always spent so much more cash?
if Klopp does end up leaving with no trophy it will be down to Klopp and his team, he could win a domestic cup, the PL or any other on offer and has shown this by consistant challenges…he also managed to beat a pretty good Bayern team when at Dortmund….
i hate to do it but i agree wit the chuckle brother, every team (almost) at the time they won the PL spent BIG money and could be said to have an unfair advantage, including with Blackburn…..
in fact over this period the only club who hasnt is Leicester and in comparison, Arsenal….
ive said this before, those saying trhe PL is bought and complaining its the same for all clubs, Man U always the richest and spent the most…Blackburns owner started the process of “buying the PL” though it cost him personally, then you have City and Chelsea
i dont think city will be as dominant as united were for as long as they were either….

“Steveo (2nd May 2019 at 11:54 am), thatβs just inflammatory. Youβve spoken about us as if weβre all throwing our toys out of the pram. How about you speak to people by name instead of tarring us all in sour grapes?
Nine, youβve liked his comment tooβ¦ hardly appropriate. ”Mak, my humble apologies Sir, i was certainly not meant to be a generalisation just after reaqding posts from here and on your TT page it would be easier and quicker to post names of those that arent than are!
it is very polarised still
didnt ment to cause offence, ive found yours and a few others views refreshing compared to the larger majority
