it certainly is making a huge difference, years gone by Leicester would have had their pants pulled down and lost HM, thye can shrug it off and keep unless for a world record fee.
its also unsustainable as are the wages…so maybe this little “reset” wether forced or by choice and using more of pool of home grown talent isnt such a bad thing.
also seem to be far fewer real genuine “stars” these days, the old breed are dying out and the new breed are a pale shadow

First you have my lot known for moaning during Arsenal Fan TV and AW last years, but on the whole we a re pretty accepting bunch and i dont think any of us blame Emery more the board and lack of support and coheshive plan to competeFL is loved but then chelsea fans have also shown to be fickle and far more vocal so if things go badly maybe they will hound him?
i think both will be safe personally but Ole needs to be careful 😉

442 see my link above about how quiet this window is currently for the PL clubs, its not just chelsea looking to youth and its not like you lot have much choice at present anyway so you may as well after all you had so many on the books it only makes sense
also Pepe has gone….so surprised that more where not in for him from all over europe, perfect fit for any top 6 team IMHO

Sean, thats pretty much my thoughts mate and the effort those players put in and played right up to the CL final to boot.
Trouble is as seen from last year you lost only 1 game all season and finished 2nd, id worry about dropping too many early points until the team is in a fit state to compete at that level again…unless city also drop a lot more points than last season it could see the gap widen, but its all ifs and maybes hopefully wont be the case and we have a similar contest to last year with a few others in the mix….that doesnt seem likley other than spuds again

i also have a feeling liverpool may actually struggle this year in the PL, none of there star players have had much if any rest in the summer and fatigue and injuries could see them get off to a slow start….i may be wrong but its a feeling i have…..
all our clubs still need players in with very little time remaining, this window has been very poor in general for the PL clubs IMHO
same could be said of clubs like Bayern and Barca too…only RM really seem to have made significant changes and additions…
i was expecting much more from this window all over than we have so far, its very odd

i know its madness, i know they lost some key loan players (especially goals with your fella) but what does that say to the team that won promotion when they go buy an entire new 11?!
obviously it could just go either way, more likely the fulham route than the other way but who knows might be just what they need….

on the link i found you were top on £47m a year, city 2nd £45m py
then Arsneal/chelsea/pool joint 3rd on $40m py and spuds 6th with $40m py this was only up to the end opf this season though and wouldnt take into account spuds £5m increase….but who know how axccurate that link is?unfortunately i cant share it lol

its a pivotal season for you lads i think
at present things are about as good as they can be for you, the new stadium (finally in and playing) breaking transfer records and keeping hold of the big names…..but it all seems like it has come a few years to late, with Citys dominance and Pool chasing them hard it would take something magical to break on or both of them and if you dont (even if you dont choke in the last few weeks) then its likely to be another season of …meh!
unless you go hard (oo er missus) for one of the cups and build a s shelf in the new gaff to put it then whats really going to change?
that said it puts my own mob in an even worse place, but at least when we had a our period we were able to compete at the very top for a few seasons, do you think levy can take you that last step?_____________________________
