Tad annoyed myself now

As someone who has suffered from depression for many years with many dire consequences of that and my actions due to that both at work and personally i find that being used as an excuse to get drunk and write what you want to be incredibly offensive.

it seems to be VAR used in Europe is a very different system to what we have seen in the PL and far worse…..again no consistency, drives you mad but its just part of the game now

Nil you cant keep mouthing off, being offensive and a general tit then think its ok as long as you do the poor me im sorry speach the next day, the first few hindred times you got awaqy with it, now its very old

no one should get as het up as you do about a sports team to the point it affectsa their entire life and personality and certainly should refrain from posting on a forum until the emotions have calmed….

i think its less the frustration and emotion and more you cant handle booze…..

as 999 says above you did any of this in a pub and you would be smacked in minutes with no chance to “apologise”

once again i totally agree, point i was making is no one else on tv did and they treated the fact she was a female differently they would had it been a male ref but with the exact same dicisions…

not about a female ref or her performance but how she was treated because of that. if more people just let them get on without all the fuss it would be better…

as i said 999 i agree she had a good game but at that level whever is reffing should it was just funny to see how pundits were very careful what they said would have been different under a male ref

i just find it funny that when people break down barriers in sport or whatever it often goes completly theother way and no one seems to mind, its like the emporers new clothes!

much better game than i thought it woiuld be for the neutral
chelsea really stepped up and looked very dangerous and bar some better finishing would/should have won in normal time
Pulisic looks a very tidy player and nice to watch, real goal threat and his disallowed goal…for a second i thought it was Hazard!
Pool look a litle flat, but 2 games in…to be expected, strange team choice to start though i thought

female ref, this had me in stitches at full time, firstly she wa very good, not brilliant but very good, she did make a howler, that was never a pen, but then ANY ref could and have made those, the only dissapointment is VAR not overturning, evem one of the pundits said they likely did not overturn the result because of the situation and special circumstances and not wanting to make her look bad

this is where it gets silly and funny, the amount of crawling being done to not sau anything bad about a ref by any pundit pr host was cringy!!!

been making this point for some time, there are very very few elite level “stars” now than there used to be, so either all players have developed levels making the difference less noticable or they just arent as good…..but it may be me (us?) getting older and remembering when things were better! 😉

but look at all positions, name a top 3 (only 3) in each position from anyone in the world currently and compare them to the past names in each position

where is the next messi, ronaldo, aguero etc

maybe some will blossom over the next few years like ronaldo did when he came through but its pretty poor in my view

i fear for Chelsea, i just think FL needs a bit more time and a few games under his belt with the squad….a big defeat and it could have a really bad affect, saying that any kind of result outside of that could lift them

our net spend is £55m i beleive so not far off and the way its been structured is very good too

if we get rid of Ozil to the US then this will be a dream window

well well well
the season is back and the first games done with, such a short summer it feels very strange when the kids are off for another 3 weeks!

good opening win for us, tricky away game in crap weather.
a win and a clean sheet, starange formation to begin with and finished with a stronger team!
but great to see so much youth getting a chance as well as our new lads all of whome i am very happy with indeed, we have done great business this summer (though still would have preferred a beast of a CB!

shame united got as many as they did that was not a 4-0 game…..

finally…..VAR is going to make a huge difference, been a great start for VAR and the system developed is much better than used in games last year or the womens world cup.

this will be the most real season ever…already VAR has correctly stopped wolves getting 3 points or stopping leicester getting 1 point….fine margins but over the course fo the season its the difference between winning and losing the pL or relegation or not….exciting start to the season!
