i agree nancy, i think the worlkd cup runined a few players, they seemed to peak in that tourno then lose form…HK, Trippier, Ali, Lingard….leading up to the WC and during the comp they were all on fire and consistantly playing at a high level then tanked

was it to many games and no rest?

mind you i think HK went backwards in the touro…started as a striker and finished as some kind of strange midfield player he kept dropping off so much and that seems to have continued

watched both united and arsenal games with them bieng on one after the other, the united game nearly had me asleep and i nearly missed my game!

uniteds game was very poor, AZ should have one that, some slick play from them.

as for my mob, that was a wonderful display and very excited by both Martenilli and Tierny both of whom had a fantastic game

also happy for Bellerin after sucha long injury lay off and he looks both good and seems to have grown up a bit also, him and tierny will make such a big difference at both ends of the itch and take some pressure off the CB’s…

no bad perfomrers tonight only slight annoyance is he didnt get a hatrick he fully deserved

silly really, a freak result and score line in all honesty especially at that level, but to be on the short list? mental!

how long did AW get while were being beaten 8-2 united and many 5-1s against liverpool and many 5-1s in the CL!!!!

spurs dont need a knee jerk reaction…but they do need a reaction and it needs to be very positive

playing Brighton next, not easy but could be a far worse test after a result like this

blimey, didnt see that coming, spuds 35 minutes of CL quality football followed by….?
said it before and i will say it again, the spuds current journey since they got Poch has reminded me so much of Arsenal under AW (without the trophies)….to be fair though at the time we only had one money bags team to beat and they have many money bags clubs and 2 of the strongest teams ever to beat…

but, form the years of austerity, keeping a squad together for a long time, not spending, shiney new stadium and now comes all the down sides of those things, it gets harder to keep players and harder to bring players in but these kind fo results do happen, we used to get beat 5-1 consistently by Bayern….something needs to happen if you dont want to follow us down to the levels you used to be at

shout out to former Arsenal man Gnabry

he is a starange one, i liked him a lot but he never hit the potential he had, then got loaned out and tanked on loan and now he is a real star for both Bayern and Germany….late bloomer! though surprised how young he still is, he seems to have been around for ages

Ed, this is a great site other than would be nice to have a few more posters outside of Pool/chelsea/united and city…but thats no down to you

on TT we have only about 6 regular posters….but to many bad apples….few more teams supporters would be nicve but you cant have it all and the lads that are here are fandabidozey so no issues and i do like to get opposing fans views…
