for sure but if he reads he wasnt first choice and turns out to be true that wont sit well with the man and his Ego and before you start there is strain between him and Levy that will bubble along until….BOOM! the usual
to be fair much of this is wishful thinking on my part in case the old Jose turns up and becomes special again and raises the spuds to far and even puts a trophy or 2 in their cabinet (once they build one) 🙂

Ed, i read that not only was that lip service as youd expect when joining a new club with said manager but that Jose was warned off buying him in the first place due to Lukakus “needs”
anyway its all rather subjective im only arguing based on feelings more than much else so i shall bow to your greater knowledge on this!

i do yes, i just dont think he will get top 4 this season, that MHO….
i think where Leicester are under Rogers and Chelsea under Frank…let alone the possibilty of a resurgent Man U and Arsenal means that is likley a step to far this season, top 6 maybe…then he needs to spend, keep and rebuild and the real test will be next year…but again if the results dont pick up and continue like they did under Poch, i know its unlikley but possible its the same group of players…then it could go very much the other way!

i thought they sacked the whole lot with Poch? so its more than a shake up its full replacement…ive no idea who any of them are nayway or what they actually do or bring to a club, many clubs fans would say diddly!

not this season, i think he will stabalise the club and do well but not enough for top 4 Leicester and Chelsea are to far ahead in the seaon for me and will only get better
also if they start with a few bad results then things could very much go the other way too….
it will certainly be interesting!

as they sacked the manager do they also have t pay off his contract? if so anyone know how long he had left and thus how much on top of what they are giving the THE SPECIOUS ONE?
that could be the spuds transfer budget gone right there! they may not have spent much in the last few years windows but even so as I know from Arsenal, that new stadium on top of other costs around it, wages and what not will mean they will not be flush with cash!
if Jose gets any real money to spend id wager it would fly close to FFP, they may break it for onw window as they have 3 in total to balance it….so could also lead to trouble
and of course the 4 or 5 contract rebels, if they do a Ramsey and see out the contracts then thats money lost also that would have been reinvested…

you say about negative football, but he has in the past also played some of the most exciting football…and spuds do have a vaunted attack fo their own at present…so it might not be dire football….of course i somewhat hope its very Dire and the shiny new spaceship rings aloud with Boo’s of every backwards and sideways pass as he makes Sir Harry track back and take a stint in goal too 😉
