id still be happy enough if it was getting one of the young hot prospects, not many top strikers about anymore and as Goose says many need replacing, so if we got some cah and lower wage bill and got in more exciting young talent, it wouldnt be so bad

nothing wrong with a few beers after a bad day and long week and a nice reminisce over family members…

for myself, my old man was never much into footy outside of the old results on a saturday and to check the Pools!
He took to me ot a Westham training ground with his busines saprtners and kids when i was young…they had..Jeff Parkes, Tony cottee, paul ince and other greats most as very young lads…i got all autographs and youd think that should be me done as a westham fan (they are closest to me in essex also)…but i was to young and had no one to take me or goad me on and wasnt overly interestd in footy myself either, then when i “came of age” around 13, got in to football nad basically copied my cousin who was the same age and had chosen Arsenal to piss off his Spud supporting dad…and once that choice was made here we are!
so very nearly Westham hence why i have a soft spot and if things hadnt been very different it could have been the spuds! thankfully life worked out OK! 😉

because he is one of the top strikers, he still has pace and for the right team would be more prolific, doesnt get many injuries either…..not saying we would get £100+m but whatever we do get he needs replacing and Haaland would do!

Goose, it made sense for us to sell Ramsey but he refused and signed a pre contract with Juve in January for squillions (as well as the chance to play for Juve with Ronaldo and win some shit!) …i can see at least Erikson doing that provifing someone wants him enough and makes sense for them to get him free in the summer rather than spend in Jan….

seems logical to do so IMHO, any they spend in Jan wont be value for money anyway, depends where they are in the table when the window opens…if Jose has had the bounce effect and things look OK i can see them keeping there poweder dry until summer…..
