Spud’s games before Christmas include West Ham, United and Wolves away from home and Chelsea at home. Their top four fate could well be determined before Christmas depending upon point accrual in those matches.
At the same time Chelsea have City and Everton away however West Ham, Villa and Bournemouth at home before Spuds away.
Leicester have City away and Liverpool at home around Christmas and both back to back however prior to that a good run of totally winnable matches.
Maybe we could have an early Mourinho implosion when we have a good look at the table at Christmas.
The January transfer window may well be utilised to stabilise a sinking ship not finance a charge for fourth. It will be interesting.

Changed his tune since he joined Chelsea the first time or just forgotten?

Ampadu highly motivated by Chelsea’s new philosophy bringing youth through to the first team and his own goals.
Check what @ethanamp4 had to say when he caught up with @StevoTheMadman for @JDFootball #TalkingTekkers

Sean, we accounted for Palace comfortably and so too should Liverpool.

Yes Villa joint second with 74. They must have been successful over the years. Trying to remember when.

how good is google. Ask the question and it shall answer.
The most players from a single professional club to play in the same England teams is seven – the number of Arsenal players who appeared on their own club’s home turf against Italy in 1934, in a memorably violent game that became known as the ‘Battle of Highbury’
Steveo would have known that and probably many others on here.

Just listed all current and most likely England Internationals from Chelsea and it is stunning. There are probably others I have missed coming through the ranks at Chelsea but these current Chelsea first team squad players (bar Ruben) could be selected to start.
Tammy Abraham, Fikayo Tomori, Reece James, Mason Mount, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Over the next few years we could see seven, yes seven Chelsea players all in the one England squad and it would be interesting to work out how many could start in the one England match.
Not sure when there would have been such a domination from the one club in the past.
999, Pagan, Destiny, anyone else, any thoughts?

Having said that United have beaten us twice already this season. Strange old game.

yes agree. I would have thought once Fergie left United and things unravelled there, a whole bunch of their glory seekers (for example the Martial Art) would have migrated across the City to City. Appears they are honourable and accepting of mediocrity. The few City fans here around must be loving it, especially those that have supported City all their lives. Reminds me of the pleasures we experienced with Roman’s arrival and beyond. Neither club will ever look back now. The stone is set.

What purpose does the penalty serve? ONE game for what? the FA is only penalising the club and its fans with that. 50k a week’s pocket money, totally irrelevant from a financial aspect for the player. Only the education programme adds value for what was a very minor issue. The education programme is all that should have been handed down.

“Whatever happens against City in the next game things have probably gone better than any Chelsea fan dared hope for so far this season given all of the circumstances.”
999 I can think of one that could no doubt try to pick it all to pieces and find a downside but it appears we will never find out because Willian is now beyond criticism. Unless something dramatic happens and everything uncoils it looks like we have seen the back of him.

I’ve got a few good mates that are Liverpool supporters, not tribal in any way and really pretty much praying for a title in the Premier League. I’m all for it just as I wanted them to beat Spurs in the Champions League for that supporter Dave Evans in New Zealand who was able to fight off the cancer long enough to witness that win. On the other side of the coin I’ve had some Liverpool supporters telling me that Chelsea have no history. Can’t work that one out unless they are talking about the 20th century but it still comes at the club from all angles. Other fans talking about Roman and the crooked money of his from Russia or City and their oil money. For me it is jealousy and a bit of banter and I just laugh it off. I do support any team that plays Manchester United and that all stems back from all their success under Sir however I do hate seeing United win. The thing is, these things are all best kept to one’s self. People just don’t. Rub of the green with refs. What goes around comes around. All clubs are affected by it one way or the other but it breaks even over a good period of time. I cannot condone what was said about the ref and a car accident. Outrageous behaviour from an adult person. Even in that ill fated Champions League debacle against Barcelona that thought never crossed my mind. Totally unacceptable. Liverpool are steaming ahead right now and some don’t like it. That’s their problem. Enjoy the ride and unless we can catch you then I hope you win it 🙂

Good call Nil but Liverpool have lost only one of their last 50 Premier League games – 38 last season and 12 this and whatever number before that. I’d be pretty cozy with a few bob on Liverpool right now.

what is it with VAR that despite too much time to look at an incident from a viewers’ perspective and multiple angles available they continue to stuff up? What is going on?
