Liverpool were away from home (albeit on neutral territory in Istanbul) against a quality side in AC Milan and reversed 0-3 in 45 plus minutes so maybe we can do same in 90 plus minutes. I doubt Bayern will take us lightly though and suffer from complacency or select a lesser team. They will be hell bent on easing some of the pain of 19 May 2012.

Anyone seen Leicester’s run in. Palace (h), Arsenal (a), Bournemouth (a), Sheffield U (h), Tottenham (a), Man Utd (h). With those last two in particular and them only a point in front of us, I reckon Chelsea have a really good chance of 3rd or 4th. The other challenger apart from Man Utd is Wolves and they have got Arsenal (h), Sheffield U (a), Everton (h), Burnley (a), Palace (h), Chelsea (a). Man Utd have Bournemouth (h), Villa (a), Southampton (h), Palace (a), West Ham (h) and Leicester (a). I am reasonably confident that both Man Utd and Chelsea will fill 3rd and 4th in whatever order. We have Watford (h), Palace (a), Sheffield U (a), Norwich (h), a couldn’t give a rats Liverpool (a) and Wolves (h). Two amazing final round matches that stand out Leicester v Manchester United and Chelsea v Wolves with all four vying for 3rd and 4th. WOW!!!!

They can beat Manchester City but basically the same side struggle against West Ham. We’ve been here before. I expect them to beat Watford however nothing would surprise me. Mason Mount is not performing like I thought he would. I expect his game to lift starting with this one. Tammy, well he was non existent against West Ham. No more slip ups.

Woke up for the kick off and glad I did. Brilliant result and thumbs up to Christensen who I thought did well. City put in and we handled them pretty well. Our defence appears to be much better than that pre – covid. Top 4 looking much stronger a bet now with those three unexpected points.

That is insane. What are people thinking? Elderly folk, especially those with underlying health issues must be horrified. Don’t any of those thousands of people have relatives in the high category risk situation that they could easily infect and kill. The Americans are just as bad and the EU is talking about banning Americans from visiting Europe. Having seen that photo they should also be looking closer to home as well.

Sterveo, they use crowd background noise with the live Rugby League here and it certainly makes a big difference. Having watched Bundesliga without it I have experienced both options and can appreciate its added value to the viewing experience. I switched off the Bundesliga after a bit because it was so bland. A bit like a training match.

It’s pleasing to see there were only 38 covid-19 deaths in the UK today and 36 yesterday so hopefully you guys have seen the worst of it. The total deaths in the UK 41,736. When putting that figure into perspective that would be about the capacity at Stamford Bridge. Damn that is a lot. You guys stay safe and well and enjoy the football. Slowly but surely some sort of normality is starting to return to our lives. Australia is really starting to unwind restrictions now, however with the social distancing still an ongoing requirement. Walking around today though it is clear that most have forgotten already. Disappointing really.
