Maybe Leipzig was the turning point Sean. Everton will be interesting on current form however they seem to freeze at Anfield, simply don’t turn up and perform. I guess they forever live in Liverpool’s shadow. I like Liverpool Sean and cheered them home last season because I really thought they deserved all the accolades however this season they have really struggled. Some of the home losses were astounding. Anyway there are few better than Klopp to sort it all out and I am sure he will.

They’ve got the second season yips. Ist title in 30 years, 1st title ever in the Premier League and couldn’t back it up. That also happens to newly promoted teams that have a great first season then it all falls apart. Kl;pp needs to regroup in the summer, reassess, strategically purchase and start again. The tried and proven of last season clearly doesn’t cut the mustard this season. Theyve lost their hunger, their desire for some reason. Mo Salah will probably leave and that may not be such a bad thing. He and Mane appear to play like the odd couple these days and Robbie F caught in the mix.

Just had to check but it is true. Jose commenced at Tottenham in 2019 and we are now into 2021 – the 3rd year. We all know that Jose turns FERAL in his 3rd year so I guess it is the beginning of the end. Where to next Jose?

Saw the Klopp interview after the most recent loss. He wasn’t flashing the pearly whites like normal. Do Klopp and Robbie F go to the same dentist. They both look like they swill their mouths out with pure bleach. I guess the millions they rake in they can afford to spend a few quid on their choppers.

Yes, it’s happening and Tuchel to replace him apparently. Players told not to report for training until the afternoon.

Watched Manchester Coty toy with Cheltenham for most of the first 80 minutes and change gears from the 80th minute on. It was fun to watch while it lasted however it was quite clear what unfolded would happen. Great effort Cheltenham though.

I hope Frank’s job is safe. Not sure who would come in to repalce him. They are talking Allegri now that Poch has gone to PSG. Maybe Roman will look at a couple of old mates in the deathly one (Avram) or Nicotine patch (Maurizio). I believe they are both currently out of work. Not sure if the Guus still does part time work managing. He is currently laid back relaxing in Curacao waiting for their next battle in the world of football so he’s probably totally off the radar.

My turn to duck for cover now folks. Northern Beaches of Sydney under assault from the hidden enemy. Hopefully they’ll be successful with the contact tracing which they are so good at. The days leading up to Christmas are vital and will tell us where it is heading. Might be a very quiet Christmas Day this year.

World class performance by Albion’s keeper. On another day he would let in a handful such is Albion’s general form this season. Today though, for now, he is a hero. What a great evening out he had.

Got to laugh at Jose bleating because some quality sides will come into the Europa League from the Champions League. I hope Spurs draw one of them in the knockout rounds and totally rile him.

A tepid performance by Chelsea in a meaningless match. Iβd be disappointed as a match going supporter with that. Abraham was typical Abraham with little anticipation or awareness. Not a performance that would earn him a starting spot at Everton. Anjorin did a few nice things. Overall disappointing .

hear what you say Sean.
Thought I’d check it out on Google and the definition of a foul in football is : A foul is an unfair act by a player, deemed by the referee to contravene the game’s laws, that interferes with the active play of the game. Fouls are punished by the award of a free kick (possibly a penalty kick) to the opposing team.
Clearly therefore the player doesn’t necessarily have to lose footing/fall over for a free kick or penalty to be given. That had never really crossed my mind. Good point.

Good run of games coming up as in plenty in a short period of time I’m thinking.
Everton away, Wolves away, West Ham home, Arsenal away, Villa home.
If we win all of those then we are going to be in a good position for sure. A few banana skins in there though I think, the next two in particular. Top of the table going into the new year would be awesome π

Straight out of Wiki.
Clemence died on 15 November 2020, after 15 years with prostate cancer. He was 72. Very sad.

Watching the Wallabies v All Blacks rugby right now being played in New Zealand and it is being played in front of a loud and boisterous crowd that looks pretty damn full just like the good old days. New Zealand has moved ahead a long way compared to most. Here in Oz our League semis were played before 50% fill stadiums which isn’t bad. Have they any plans regarding the football in the UK or do they still consider it too dangerous?

Well window over. RLC to Fulham on loan good to get him more football and hopefully the challenge of trying to help them stay up will inspire him to put in find the sort of quality form he has always apparently had in his locker.
Just a thought on a separate issue, the sale of Eden Hazard a few years back. Not sure Real have got value for money. What a brilliant sale by us. The guy rarely plays any more due to injury. Only 16 appearances for them so far and ONE goal.

Total domination today. We did as we liked. Palace offered nothing and our defence was the most solid I have seen for quite some time. Surely Saha gets docked his pay for not turning up. He was total crap. Canβt believe that Palace beat up United only a few weeks back.

Joe Biden to be signed up urgently. Anybody else have the misfortune to watch that Presidential debate? Trump is just impossible. Get him out!

A team put together over a matter of weeks (at least half the side) in what are not normal circumstances then expected to go in and play from the get go with no preseason (bar one game) against opposition which is of professional standard. Of course there are going to be unfortunate errors made but the fact that they were 3-0 down and able to turn it around as they did told me that we need to accept that, in time, this is going to be one hell of a good football side. Obviously a few of the players are going to struggle to make the grade and will probably continue to be ‘risky’ players and I put Alonso, Emerson, Azpi (on occasions). Christensen into that category. I am willing to forgive Thiago Silva on this one error as they all make mistakes and he, over time, once settled in, will more than pay his way. Having said all that, what you say 442 is a fact and unfortunate but not unexpected (well, by me anyway) π
