I think Banjo probably spoke the wisest of words when he proclaimed that all managers are asshats. Mourinho didn’t exactly cover himself in glory in the past. But Pep isn’t a saint either. Wasn’t he once caught juicing as a player? And his quote about not spending when you could be promoting youth seems a tad hollow his time at City so far considered.
I’m happy to admit Pep is a very good manager. One of the best around.
But so is Mourinho. Football and the way it’s played is also a matter of personal taste. I never was entertained by tiki-taka. I always preferred a more direct style of play. Mourinho’s previous sides could be entertaining in My opinion. This side has the potential to be. But we still have shitloads of deadwood, and you can’t replace them all at once.

Mav, I find it hard to believe 60 will be enough – and Bendtner!! I can’t stand him! What a waste of space! The perfect example of someone pissing his talent away. He’s bloody fantastic! I read somewhere (was it teamtalk? I’m not sure) that Spurs rate him at 60 million euros. In the market of today that’s a steal, if it’s true. He’s the best player we’ve had since the Laudrups, and I get why Barcelona and Juventus are reported interested.
When Spurs bought him I had my doubts if he could cut it in the PL. He’s not exactly the most physical of players. But he’s talented and disciplined. And that’s just a pretty good combination.

I don’t watch Spurs much, but for Denmark, he’s simply our most important player by a wide margin. What he did to Ireland was one step away from actual rape.

Spurs fans: Who is more important? Eriksen or Kane? I think popular opinion would say Kane, but I think you could put a cas eforward for Eriksen, if I’m honest and trying not to be too biased.

I guess I’m hoping for an entertaining game like a 5-5 draw, a mass brawl at the end and all players on the field getting suspended for about 10 games.

With only 5 points seperating 5th from 2nd place, that would be pretty ideal I guess.

I’ve been to Iron Maiden twice, AC/DC and Entombed once each. Great bands! And in less than two weeks I’ll see Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys. Looking forward to it!

Other than that it’s mainly smaller bands that I’m pretty sure not many people outside of Denmark ever heard of.

I’m with Pagan on this one about parking the bus. There’s a time and place for it. To set your team up defensively is a legitimate tactic.
Why would you try to outplay an opponent if you know they’re technically superior?

When Chelsea won the CL in 2012 they certainly parked the bus against Barcelona at their place. And they did it brilliantly. It was truly a great performance in my opinion.

Mav: To be honest, mate, I don’t know much about him. He played a few games for our u- 17 national team. I never did see him play. Copenhagen had some decent players come through over the course of the years, so he might be a talent. But at 16 it could go either way.

HH: Kids should listen more. They drink those disgusting breezers and shakers and what have you. Essentially crap products for people who want to get hammered but dont like alcohol. It’s a disgrace I tell ya!
