Lookingforward to Denbaconmark vs Austrakylia too. It’ll be a tough game I’m sure. Hopefully we’ll kick them back down under. I do have my doubts though. We’re not exactly worldbeaters.

Spain vs Iran, I think the Iranians have defended very well, but you do need to take some risks and actually try going forward. At some point you’ll break if you only defend. Much harder to only react than actually act.

Banjo, I’m not so sure. We were crap against Peru. Basically Schmeichel saved our arsenals. We were no threat going forward. a draw is more than likely, and if Australia takes the lead, we’ll struggle to get back. We are just not very effective unless Eriksen plays a blinder. He didn’t against Peru, and we needed a complete lucky punch to get a goal.

Watching the second half now. I really don’t think England are very convincing to be honest. And honestly, is right footed Young really the best left wingback or whatever we should call his position that England have?

He’s only 27 and is a very good player. Perhaps he just isn’t suited to the PL? He would probably perform much better in the Spanish league.

Only followed something like half of the half of the England game, but I did see Lingard and Sterling missing some big chances. By the looks of that England ought to be at least a goal up before second half.

But so far none of the big teams have performed well. Germany looked bad against the Mexicans, Portugal look a one man team, Spain not as good as they once were, France rather poor against The Banjo Boys, Brazil went off the boil, the Argies never reached anything like the boiling point. But all in all the WC has been good enough entertainment so far.
Oh, and Denmark won against Peru. We were bollocks, but I’ll take being bollocks and win 1-0 the next six games without complaining.

Usually they haven’t got a problem getting managers or players for that matter. I read somewhere some time ago that a German player explained that as a German signing for Bayern Munich was the ultimate blueprint of your abilities as a player. I think Real Madrid have the same effect just on a larger scale.

I think they’ll end up with who they want. I read that former player Guti is the one they want. That seems like they try to do yet another Zidane. And why not? It worked first time around.

I never had a problem myself with Nil, but if you send e-mails at night to the editor of site and you on a regular basis go on epic rants and end up in what best can be described as online confrontations, then clearly you have a problem. I hope he can get past those problems, but being on forums like this isn’t going to help him I think.
