Fabhino is a very good signing for us. Adds much needed aggression to midfield. Keita coming in aswell.

Fred has signed for utd. Don’t know much about him but highly rated.

Great stuff Hightown. It’s taken me a week to get over it but here’s my thoughts

We started really well. Few half chances and good save from Navas. Game changed when Salah went off. This highlighted exactly why we needed a replacement for couthino. Lalanna has been tried and tested wide in the front 3 and it doesn’t work.

Madrid just took over then and they were excellent. The midfield just passed it around for fun. We just couldn’t really get into it after Salah injury. Lack of squad depth cost us but we lost to a better team.

Lovren, vvd, Robertson and mane did very well.

Huge pity we lost but a few years ago days like this were miles away.

We haven’t had successive cl qualification in 9 years. Every game you know we will try and attack. Fabhino and keita are two good signings. We need aggression.

I’d be delighted with Fekir and keeper but how much can we spend? Aleardy used more then couthino money. Centre back needed aswell

For years we have done nothing. Hodgson was terribke. Two finals with Kenny and a pl shot under Rodgers

I can see genuine progression under klopp. 3 finals and big nights back at Anfield. Those nights were long gone a few years back.

Love watching us play. Be very tough to get top 4 again. Be great win something but I’m realistic with city utd Chelsea etc all going to improve. It’s just good to be enjoying watching us play and delighted we have klopp

I think we will get better but do will others. Klopp is building a very good team. Just need to hold onto our best players going forward

We started well but faded badly after Salah went off. Rotten luck for that to happen. Two bad mistakes by the keeper who I feel really sorry for but he’s not good enough

Klopp has now lost 6 finals. That’s a horrible record. Love watching us play. Every game we go out to win but we just don’t turn up for finals

Lovren, mane and Robertson turned up. Others did ok but it’s not enough in a final

Nine, I can’t see much over confidence to be honest mate especially amongst all my Liverpool mates

I think we have a chance if we play like we can

My worry is we will freeze. The over confidence seems to coming form Madrid managers and players

Del bosque predicts 4-1 and Camachoo
