My take is something has to be done about all these soft penalties as it’s destroying the arts of defending irrelevant of who the teams are, I’m not saying you must go in with studs up but the diving tackle is a work of art and if it doesn’t come off should not be a punishable offense, the problem is every guy who gets tackled a
bit goes down like his just been shot and in most cases nothing is wrong with them. Defenders are now too scared to tackle and even with handball sticking their hands behind their backs which looks ridiculous and you also lose your proper balance to defend.

Think Verstappen deserved it, his riding a slightly inferior car plus most of the stewards decisions this season went against Red Bull. It’s good for the sport when there are different winners as it could be for the EPL.

I still say every single penalty this weekend was and still is very debatable, maybe it’s true big teams get those decisions easier. I’m sure 20 years ago none of those would have been penised. It must be tough being a defender you don’t know how to tackle or maybe you shouldn’t at all. That’s how it appears.

I personally cannot see anything but a City league title they class and never rely on luck, when they win they always deserve it and when they drop points they always unlucky, I think besides the quality of the players it has a lot to with the team management’s.
