I’m ok with Sterling at 27 he should be at his peak and his not a bad player except for the diving issue, Aka I’m not too happy cause his not a top class player, gets a couple goals with his headers,but not defensively sound. Pity de Light prefers Germany but then suppose playing for Bayern you assured of a league title at least.

Tuchel does rotate his team’s so I doubt Sterling will play every week plus he would also need to be consistent. Depends on whose going to get the goals regularly if any.

These methods of playoffs for promotion and relegation really need to be revised, how can a team that finished 8th 11 points behind the 3rd placed team but then go on to best them in the playoff final qualify for promotion? That’s really not right.

In contrast to the great Real Madrid teams of the past this team in recent years have had an extreme amount of good fortune even more under Zidane as well, ok they had to go past all the best club teams in the world but it doesn’t deter from the fact that they were very lucky against them as well. I actually believe Madrid’s winning goal was offside by the tightest of margin while Benzemas goal should have stood, could be the officials mindset was that they couldn’t disallow such another tight controversial decision!

Madrid have been poor throughout the tournament and only pure lucky breaks has seen them reach the final and they almost got another one with that disallowed Benzema goal, however this time I thought it was a legal goal as it comes off 2 Liverpool players and was definitely not a deflection.

Some of these games and I am not pointing fingers specifically at anyone but they do remind me of a game I played at amateur level, last game of the season and we needed a draw to avoid relegation and we were playing the top side who already won the league. At half time they were deservedly up 2-0, then with 10 minutes left they just stood still and allowed us to run through and score 2 goals.

Blueson or whoever u are, you do have a point I remember when Chelsea won the CL on penalties, yes it was a good moment but somehow it just did not feel quite right. it’s no wonder they classify those games officially as draws even though the penalties make a team the winners. Not the idle way to lose or win. I wish they could think of a more satisfying method.
