Stevo, Keogh was on quite a big wage, he was expected to be out for eighteen months minimum, and probably would never be able to play at Championship level again. Rumours that may or may not be true suggest that there may be more involved than just alcohol and that he gave a false name to the ambulance crew that were first on the scene, didn’t help his cause that one of them was a Derby fan and knew who he was.

As for the other two, not on such big money and Derby I suppose see them if not as the future of the club, as saleable assets. Personally I think they should have sacked all three of them and then sued them for their transfer values, as Chelsea did with Mutu. I have zero tolerance for drink driving, and it’s not as if these individuals couldn’t have afforded a taxi home…..Pagan

Well an interesting half, barring the silly challenge that gave away the penalty there’s not been much in it. The three less experienced youngsters have done well, which bodes well for the future as long as we don’t go out and buy a load of “blockers” when the transfer ban is lifted….Pagan

Although I said I was taking a sabbatical from this discussion until the end of the season I have been talking to someone at St George’s Park today who said that the “video assistances referee” system that is currently being used is likely, following several Recent high level meetings being replaced for the start of next season, several options are being considered but the most likely one will be the “film and review critical events” system…..Pagan

This may be a little controversial, but maybe the league should think about giving the refs some assistance, you know there’s now loads of cameras at the matches now, maybe they could review any dubious incidents so they get them right???…..Pagan
