Well another week passes, nine has had a tough couple of weeks and the site has missed him.

Unfortunately KFC, Burger King and imminently MacDonalds are or will be open, the former two in Derby are have opened and apart from the hour plus queues for “fast food” the most noticeable thing is the amount of new litter these places cause on the surrounding roads, litter is a pet hate of mine, I just don’t understand the concept of not putting it in a bin, if I’d have dropped it when I was a kid I’d have expected a clip round the ear.

So sport has been given the go ahead to start up, but it’s up to the relevant bodies to ensure it’s safe, so that should be interesting in the coming weeks, the richer the sport the sooner it comes back.

Women’s Super League and Champioship has been ended with immediate effect, that’s the easy bit done, now the difficult bit, who wins them, who gets the European spots and who gets promoted and relegated…..Pagan

MPs, advisers etc are clever people and good problem solvers, maybe if they all sat down together no matters which party they belong to or what beliefs they have and put their minds to the problem in hand, rather than spending their time trying to score petty points against each other they may find that they get a bit more respect than they currently have….Pagan

Mmm, so the “world’s richest club” is £430m in the red, which means the local kids team has £403001165 more than Manchester Utd. Maybe they should consider doing a sponsored bike ride or some bag packing at the local supermarket……Pagan

Brian, I’m a big advocator of women’s sport, having a very sporty daughter and seeing first hand the lack of facilities they have. She’s played both football and cricket in mixed teams where the female changing area is basically the women’s toilet.

Currently she’s playing cricket at county level and has had to turn down a place in a women’s footy academy as they weren’t happy she that she would miss a few weeks of footy training whilst she attended county cricket selection sessions.

As for the Drum issue, I sometimes go to see Derby County, they have a drummer and it’s bloody annoying to say the least. I did notice that the bloke merrily banging away on it didn’t sit down all game, probably due to the location of his first set of drumsticks if the away supports chants were anything to go by…..Pagan

As I’ve said before “The only thing that’s certain is only two people know the truth and one of them won’t be telling it” I will add to that though, I do find it strange that the papers were all over it very quickly and the details about the alleged texts and what she may or may not have been wearing or was in her bag were included from the first reports, which would suggest one of the parties PR team were on the ball……Pagan

Brian, on the 15/4/2018 Chelsea Ladies played Man City Ladies in the FA Cup semi final, the game itself and the result is immaterial, what stood out for me from the match was the actual match ball, if you looked carefully at it the ball had CLFC written on it in felt tip marker, that’s how close the women’s game at the highest level is to grass roots footy…..Pagan

Kane was asked as a football player about his thoughts on returning to work, if 9’s transcript is correct he’s stated that it’s his own opinions and that they have to constantly review with the latest recommendations. Personally I can’t see that he’s said anything wrong as it’s his opinion, others football players have had their say and some are totally opposed to returning in any shape or form until they consider it’s totally safe, I can’t see anything wrong with what they’re saying either as it’s their opinion……Pagan
