67, not sure you’ve grasped racism, and how it actually is out there. You want to stop the protests about people being murdered round the world due to the colour of their skin until we have a vaccine, well there is no vaccine for racism, and there may not be one for the Coronavirus.

I know a cricketer who was racially abused last year in an adults game, they used the n word and made it quite clear she should go back where they came from, totally unacceptable and even more so when you know it’s a 14 year old girl.

Bottom line, saying they shouldn’t protest because there’s a virus that’s been around for 6 months and saying they should be charged with manslaughter for doing so is ok until you factor in that people have been murdered for the last couple of hundred years due to their race……Pagan

9, totally agree selling your only real asset is not the way to go.

Derby are in a mess, to sell your ground for £80m and still only post a profit for the year of £15m and with that profit only just making the rolling FFP limits shows exactly where they are, gambling on promotion and not getting it last year, and looking unlikely this season could have devastating consequences for them…..Pagan

9, I know Derby are still under investigation, it’s not for selling their stadium, it’s for selling it at on over inflated price in order to meet their financial targets. Even with the vastly inflated sum they got for it, they only just scraped by, still if if you have a business that spends £1.33 for every £1.00 it turns over you’re always going to have problems. Quite funny we’re talking about Derby’s ground, I can see it from the office window…..Pagan

9, Derby County are owned by Mel Morris and the Stadium was owned by Derby County, Derby County then sold their ground to a private individual, Mel Morris. That isn’t a problem as the stadium has been sold by the club and they have received payment for it. The problem is it was valued £20 to £30 million less than Morris paid for it…..Pagan

9, just to clarify, Derby county’s owner personally bought the stadium off his own company that owns Derby County. I believe Roman has done similar things at Chelsea by converting loans into assets……Pagan

9, Derby did do that, however the owner paid considerably more than the Club had it valued at on their books. The other thing Derby did which shone a spotlight on them was when they amortised a players value instead of it winding down to zero, as that’s a players worth at the end of his contract, they put a transfer value on him at the end of it…..Pagan
