Brian, I think you’ll have another 4 or 5 years of Pep, I don’t think there’s a better fit for Man City and I don’t think Pep really has anywhere else to go, unless he fancies a bit of time in Italy. Klopp on the other hand I think will be gone from these shores when his contract expires in 22, he’ll be ideal for either Barca or Real who once they sort themselves out will require a good old rebuild which Klopp can do…..Pagan

Brian, football sold its soul to TV, Broadcasters pay extortionate amounts, yet the clubs make very little if any profit, the vast majority of this money flows out of the game into players and agents pockets. The broadcasters hype up the games with pre, half-time and post match analysis, which with their obsession of trying to find fault with the referees has led to the introduction of VAR, which is yet another nail in the coffin of the game how we knew it.

It will never go back to how it was unless there’s a total collapse of football as a TV spectator sport….Pagan

I would like them to record or broadcast the conversations between the VAR and ref and then only see the video feed they see so we can see how they get to the decisions they do…..Pagan

Yes 9, they got to the right decision in the end. However he should never have been sent off in the first place, the ref got it totally wrong, what they need is some sort of video technology the ref can look at to make sure he gets his decisions right….Pagan

Mikus, it has to have intent, which it didn’t. I think that they ought to show what the ref sees and also play the audio. There’s no way that was a sending off, the appeal was successful, VAR and the ref got it wrong. VAR was sold to stop this sort of thing happening…Pagan
