Hazard, Alli, for me they’re both great players, Hazard has proved himself over a greater number of seasons, so you know what you are getting, Alli has the potential to keep improving and is still young.

On the negative side, Hazard will have a smaller residual value in 5 years time, and Alli has to curb his temperament without losing his desire.

Value wise I taking into consideration the above and the stupidity of the current market, I wouldn’t put much between them, and as always it’s down to who will pay what….Pagan

9, that’s my thoughts also, his next contract will be his last big one, if he goes he’ll get a pay rise and a signing on fee and the choice of where he wants to go, Chelsea if they want to keep him need to match his aspirations both financially and competitively.
If he won’t sign by the end of this season, then he needs to be sold to maximise his value….Pagan

Last nights match was a great advert for cup football, it shows what passion, desire and hard work can achieve. My youngest’s team won through to the County Cup final on Sunday, and all being well will get into the League cup final as well, the draw in both competitions has been kind to us, but in both finals they will be up against academy teams. It’s results like this that show what a grass roots team, that doesn’t turn anyone away, that doesn’t hold trials can achieve against teams at the other end to the spectrum….Pagan

To be honest, I’m embarrassed when Chelsea players do it, Cahill on Friday got an arm in the upper chest and then went down holding the top of his head, I just sat there in front of the TV cringing.

I don’t know how many on here have anything to do with grass roots footy, but we’re starting to see kids 12 years old and younger throwing themselves to the ground, because that’s what they see on TV, and the pundits justify it, so it’s the proper thing to do…Pagan
