Sean and Mikus, I think it’s a bit of a stretch saying challengers or winners don’t lose those games, we are definitely challengers lads, we just won’t be winners. Nor should we be really, with what the moneybags have spent in consecutive seasons we are doing well to challenge them.

Damn losing I’m not used to it, oh well ? 38 degrees where I am so it’s not all bad. Ocean close by, JetSki, wakeboard, kneeboard & camping with the family. Life’s good.

Just found a pocket of space with service in my travels. Bad result for us, from what I’m reading Lovern had a Barry Crocker & Pep won the tactical battle. I knew we’d start with that mid & was worried it was too conservative but I haven’t seen the game I’m only going off what I’m reading.
Still 4 points clear & any one of us would’ve taken that at this stage. C$ty will not lose another game in the EPL as they now have their top players back into the fold so we also have to win pretty much every game, which we won’t do. This will be a mental battle as much as anything so hopefully we can put that behind us & move on.

Will miss the big game and aftermath as I’ll be in an area of no service till Friday so here’s hoping I’ll come back to a great win & a lot of confidence. Can’t wait to see the replay as it’ll be an interesting tactical battle regardless. Up the Reds.

Well Threeps I paid over 10,000 for a trip to the UK with the main objective being to see LFC play at Anfield so I guess you could say I do enjoy the build up. We got dusted 0-2 that day but I loved the experience. I love the fact we play every 3or 4 days this time of year (bet the players don’t).
We are half way through the season & with top players coming back from injury I genuinely still think c$ty will wear us down. I hope I’m wrong mate, I really do but time will tell. Nervously excited about tomorrow though, it’s what you want to see, your team in a top of the table clash with the best squad in the comp. I won’t panic if we don’t win but I’ll be the most excited fella down under if we win. Hopefully the machine keeps rolling on._____________________________

Yeah Mak we certainly have the game to do it. How do you think we will approach the game, I think we will go with a more reserved midfield like Hendo, Gini & Milly or something like that trying to contain their midfield, as opposed to Keita or Shaq in there. I’m not sure what is the best approach though. Some have been saying they can be got it if your brave enough to have a go at them & I sort of agree. It’s a hard one because we can beat anyone going forward but c$ty (sorry gi, it’s habit now) are a different beast to anyone else & like us have the ability to cut you to shreds if you are too open. Bloody tough call for Klopp on this but my view is if you go down, go down swinging. Be a great game either way, could be a tactical bore fest for all we know but if you like your football & can see what the managers are trying to do it’ll be good to watch either way. Nervously looking forward to it.

Yeah Sean I was one who went over the top in 2014 & I’ve been very reluctant to predict we will succeed since. Last season we played some absolutely brilliant stuff & I loved watching us play. Mates of mine bagging me for watching football saying 0-0 results must be thrilling to watch but I could say not my team, they’re always scoring goals & conceding them as well.
Whilst we aren’t as scintillating this season we are proving to be very hard to beat & are showing signs of steel we haven’t had for a long time. I do think we’ve had some luck this season but as they say you need a bit to win anything. We are in a great position but I do genuinely believe c$ty have a better squad overall & a top manager to boot & with only half a season gone talk of winning it are way too premature. HH also said I’m way to negative so it isn’t just Threeps & I accept I’m a bit negative but to suggest I don’t like watching us play is just ludicrous.
Talking to a mate today who’s a gooner & he said he can’t see anyone beating us, reckons we have it all. I guess we are very well balanced & have match winners to go with it but I just can’t shake that nagging feeling we will slip up. This c$ty game is a big one but if we win or even draw it I won’t have any reason to doubt we can go all the way._____________________________

Yeah Mak I don’t know if Klopp was ever really chasing him was he. I know we got linked with him a lot & Klopp said he likes him as a player but did we make an offer & actively pursue him? Top player & a very good buy for chelSki though, be good to see how he goes in the EPL. I don’t think we can complain about Klopps business for LFC, he’s definitely putting the pieces of the puzzle together nicely & strengthening where we need it. Hopefully we can hang on to our lead & finally win the EPL this season but if not I’m sure he will make another savvy addition or 2 & we will be right up there again next season.

Yeah threeps I actually can’t wait to see Liverpool lose a game, I’ll go running around saying how happy I am. I only say stuff hoping I can say I’m right, not because we have continually messed up when in a good position or final in recent seasons or the fact c$ty have been without 4 or 5 of their best players for a while & are still close by. I actually can’t stand watching us play, I don’t enjoy the games at all or look forward to them, especially last year when we were scoring heaps of goals. Your so smart Threeps, you got me all figured out.

Salah went down way too easy for me & those that make excuses for players doing it are part of the reason it continues to happen. Players that dive are embarrassing & destroying the game & these excuses like ” any contact is a penalty” or “he held his shirt so it’s a foul” are kidding themselves. Yes it might be a foul going off the rules but the theatrics are a disgrace to the game, throwing your head back like you’ve been shot & laying on the ground wriggling around like you’ve got a compound fracture or the like because someone lightly bumped you is just ridiculous. As I said before I’d hate to see them in a big crowd of people, they wouldn’t get far hitting the deck all the time.

Spot on Mak, I’ve said it many times but I truly still expect c$ty to win it again this season for all the reasons you said mate. I can’t see anything but a c$ty win tomorrow & 4 points is nothing after that. They are getting players back now & will definitely go on a winning streak. We scraped Everton at Anfield & expect a similar tight one next time. As you said manu away now they are finally playing with a bit of freedom is more than difficult.
Thing is we haven’t had a blip yet & when it happens how will we react. Will we panic & play within ourselves or will we tough it out & still pick up wins. I’m certain we won’t go through undefeated I just hope we show some strength when the time comes & we lose one. I think we will find out after tomorrow what we are made of, I’m more than confident c$ty will beat us._____________________________

9 all over even if they draw, bollocks mate. Half a season has gone & nothing was won at the half way point. As I said previously I still think c$ty will win it with games to spare. Players coming back from injury & they will go on a massive winning streak & win it. Liverpool will have a slump, we always do. Watch this space, c$ty will win it again.

Sean I think a couple of c$ty lads expected them to go through the season pretty comfortably & win the title. Now they are being made work for it & there’s a bit of pressure they are getting up tight & are reacting like they are (as I said a couple so BB & others not pointed at you guys). Being honest they should win the title every season, they’ve spent way more than everyone else over a number of seasons & finally got the manager to get them as hot favorites every season. We had to buy the world highest fee for a defender & I think keeper as well just to try keep up & we are still way behind in quality in depth. Injuries have cruelled c$ty but they have players coming back & to be honest I still think they will win the EPL with games to spare, they will bridge the gap in a couple of days & will go on a long winning streak. I bet they don’t worry about bagging everyone when that happens.

Wow I didn’t expect us to bang 5 past Arsenal, maybe last season but not this one. Amazing result against a very good team. Spurs shocked me as well. Sorry BB but hopefully the stars line up again & c$ty slip up again, but I really don’t expect it.
All we can do is keep winning & if we do that in a couple of days even I might be forced to believe it’s possible ?.

TBA & BB very sorry to hear about your health issues Lads, truly hope you both improve in 2019, nothing more important than your health. We had Spodge on the TT pages for many years posting a lot of sense & he sadly stopped posting last year after health issues, much to the detriment of the site. Whilst we don’t know each other personally we build a bit of a bond & friendship so to speak so I really hope you lads pick up in 2019. Take care fellas.
