Paul, certainly there was players to the value of circa £200k plus on the bench.

The Club appointed Potter with a long term plan in mind and they are cutting him some slack because of the injury crisis yesterday with Zakira coming off that made a full team injured.

Personally I don’t think things will start to improve until Chelsea get the key players up and running again which will take time and too many Chelsea fans who have only known success lack patience.

The team below when they are all back and in the groove is good enough to see Chelsea finish closer to the top than the bottom

When everyone is back and in the groove Chelsea have every chance of finishing closer to the top than the bottom but 6 of those players are still injured and Felix is banned for 3 games which makes things very difficult for Potter and Chelsea still lack a striker of any merit.

This is a long term job whoever the Manager is and it will take time for the injuries to clear and the squad to evolve over several windows to get Chelsea back to where they want to be.

Chelsea definitely need goal scoring striker but unfortunately you can’t buy to your exact needs in order of requirement especially in January.

Felix will add creativity to the team which is something that’s been badly lacking too and hopefully that will lead to a few more goals. And there’s a little under 3 weeks left in the January window too.😊

The wrong team from Pep and no attempts on target is almost unbelievable by City.

But Southampton were magnificent. The draw for the Semi finals benefits both the United’s as two legged semi finals give the underdogs less of a chance.

Getting Chelsea up the League has to be the main objective Felix is a quality player and won’t do us any harm in that direction. Chelsea have the 4th best defensive record in the PL creating chances and scoring goals is the problem Felix could certainly help out with the creating side of that. I’m not worried about the £9m loan fee and who knows what might happen at the end of the season. Once we have one or two of the transfers bedded in ( still 20 days to go too)and we have Chilwell and James back and possibly at some stage Kante we could be looking at a very different Chelsea.

I don’t think the United job was an easy job but you can’t compare ten Haag’s situation to Potters firstly tH had a pre season with his players secondly he had the Summer transfer window with Casimero signed and being fundamental to the way United play. Potter had neither.

Enough is enough family problems have to be solved within the family and not by washing your dirty laundry in public.

I’ve avoided the Netflix documentary and last night’s ITV interview. Overall it’s sad it’s come to this and it’s ended as a family at War.

I think the trauma of the break up of their parents marriage and the sad loss of their Mother has had a lasting effect on both boys one things for certain imo Diana wouldn’t want any of this to be happening.
