Other than Pep,Jose, Poch and Wenger I wouldn’t rule too many of the rest out and just to prove how fickle football fans are 4 months after winning the title and 4 days after a magnificent team performance in Madrid there are posters on the Chelsea site digging out Conte on the back of the City loss.

Actually the above is far to flippant, what we saw yesterday was terrible and we’ve seen some clips sent to us from our friends in Catalonia which are even worse. Fortunately they got to vote without any problems.

I’m not sure where this is all going to end because the majority want an independent Catalonia and yesterday’s events will only have strengthened that opinion.

Robertson is better going forwards just the same as Moreno. Moreno and Robertson are both more wing backs than anything else. As a wing back Moreno looks good problem is Klopp rarely plays with wing backs.

I can’t see Kane going to another PL club but he’s ambitious and if he doesn’t win League titles at Spurs and get to compete in CL Finals I would be surprised if he hangs around especially given the fact that he could also probably treble his money at one of the Super club’s and win the really big trophies he aspires to along the way.

Jim, we lived in Catalonia for a while and still have Catalonian friends out in Catalonia and visit regularly.

It’s a very tough situation for everyone out there currently and of course Pep is a Catalonian too. I hope and pray there are no serious injuries and things ultimately get sorted out peacefully.

My big disappointment yesterday from a Chelsea perspective was that the line up had but two changes to it from the Atletico Madrid game Luiz because he was suspended and Rudiger in place of Moses with Azpi moved forwards to right wing back which was the only real tactical change to the line up seemingly to take some of the sting out of City’s left hand side.

But if you didn’t know any different you wouldn’t have believed that Chelsea were the same side who played Atletico Madrid on the Wednesday.

I can’t make out as to whether that was because City were so good or because as I suggested earlier this week playing City after the AM game and not returning to London until the early hours of Thursday morning could see Chelsea fatigued.

Conte is taking a lot of stick on the Chelsea site but I got his selection of Azpi at wing back and understood with the Morata injury why he didn’t go with Michy straight away because we were already struggling with retaining possesion and using Michy for an hour would probably have only added to that.

Unfortunately the loss of Morata sealed our fate albeit that City looked the more likely winner prior to that and Willan has been struggling for form all season and personally I would have gone for Pedro rather than Willian.

The strategy seemed to be to try and contain City and hit them on the break and after the Morata injury we struggled with that and in truth 1 nil flattered us.

City are great in forward mode and I would be surprised if they don’t go on and win the title yesterday I thought they really looked like a Pep team.

Chelsea lost Morata after circa 30 mins to injury had Chelsea lost Costa or Drogba after circa 30 mins the impact on those teams in such a tough game would have been the same

Arsenal,Spurs,Everton and City in Chelsea’s first 7 games has been a difficult start hopefully Morata recovers during the international break and Chelsea can re group.

Only Chelsea plus was Christensen and he deserves a run of games now imo.

City will take some stopping this season.

7 game in 21 days culminating in an away game v Atletico Madrid followed by the City game a few days later with so little recovery time was a game to far for Chelsea even without the loss of Morata.

Having said that City are an outstanding team,with an outstanding squad with an outstanding Coach and I would be very surprised if we haven’t seen the next Champions today.

Congrats to City and all the City lads on here totally deserved.

Also Spurs have to pay for a new Stadium.

Team/Squad wise Spurs are in a pretty good place at the moment imo their problem will be hanging on to the Dele Alli’s and Kane’s of this world if they don’t win the big trophies which is getting tougher and their wage structure which caused the Danny Rose outburst and reflects the position of lot of Spurs top players.

All in all a difficult balancing act for Levy.

Unfortunate injuries for City.

Chelsea without Luiz and have had very little recovery time after getting back from Madrid in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Should be a good game though and City have such a strong squad that whatever team they put out their tough to beat.

Medium to long term though these injuries might have swung the title United’s way although United have lost Pogba too possibly for another 6 weeks?

Mikus there’s something not quite right imo about a team finishing 4th earning more TV money than a title winning team and only £4.7m less in total prize money and TV revenues than the PL Champions when finishing 4th 16 points behind the title winners.
