I do the same as Pagan and just watch the matches I’m interested in and fast forward anything or anyone I don’t want to watch.
MOTD doesn’t have the same weight as it used to now due to the copious number of live televised matches, the game of the day re run every Saturday night and the extended highlights of each club all available on Sky.
Personally I don’t have any problems with Lineker someone has to front it up and I still think it provides a great service because not everyone can afford Sky and BT Sport and MOTD caters for them.

Although United were poor yesterday and are in a poor run of results I thought it was very poor of Keown to come out with his “he’s lost the dressing room” comment.
Nobody outside of an ex United player with a real in into the dressing room would know that and I doubt even Garry Neville has a sufficient in to know that but Keown is a pundit and saying such things gets him noticed for 10 minutes.
United can’t keep changing Managers and as the Ed above highlights the problems that exist for any Manager walking through the door at OT will always be there and it’s a massive task for anyone to take on.
Perhaps the Board and United fans should think back to the beginnings of the incredible Ferguson era and how long it took Fergie to get it right and had they knee jerked then after less than two seasons the Ferguson era would never have happened and Fergie won nothing at United in his first few seasons whilst Mourinho won two trophies in his first season.
The Ed is right though the Board need to demonstrate their ongoing support for Mourinho or sack him and try again but Ancelotti is not the answer he won’t cause the negative PR but he’s far too nice for the United role.

βToday, we finished a great year for us β for the club, for the fans, for the players, for me. For a first experience in the league, to win the title is not easy, so I have to thank the club for giving me this opportunity.β Antonio Conte 30/12/2017

Nil, Such an exciting player Batistuta shame he has suffered so badly with his ankles:
“Gabriel Batistuta has revealed that the excruciating ankle pain he felt after retiring from the game led him to ask a specialist to amputate his legs.
Now 45, the former striker enjoyed a glittering career with several big teams in Serie A, most notably Fiorentina, where he spent almost a decade, scoring 168 goals.
However, Argentina’s record World Cup goalscorer hasn’t had a particularly enjoyable retirement.
βI left football and overnight I couldn’t walk,β Batistuta told TyC Sports. βI wet the bed even though the bathroom was only three meters away. It was 4am and I knew if I stood my ankle would kill me.
βI went to see Doctor Avanzi (a specialist in Orthopaedics and trauma) and told him to cut off my legs. He looked at me and told me I was crazy.
“I couldn’t bare it any longer. I can’t put in to words just how bad the pain was.β
The South American idol has since had less drastic treatment in the form of screws, and although only one leg was augmented, he is now able to enjoy golf without much trouble.
βI chose the right leg, the doctor couldn’t do both,β he said. βI didn’t care. My problem is that I have no cartilage or tendons. My 86 kilos are supported by bones alone. That’s what generated the pain.
βI’m much better now than I was three years ago.β

A poor performance by United for sure. Hope Lukaku is ok. I think you can argue the penalty claim either way and on another day under another Ref that may well have been awarded.
Be surprised if Young doesn’t get a retrospective ban for his dig in the penalty area to add to United’s woes troublesome times for Mourinho

Disappointing result for Bristol City today they dominated the game before the Wolves sending off and after the sending off but got done by a great ball which led to Fielding pulling the Wolves player down and getting himself sent off and that Barry Douglas strikes a great ball from the resultant free kick and Wolves were level and and did again in injury time after one of my neighbours Marlon Pack conceded a silly free kick.
We’ll done to Wolves though they look sure to come up.

5 nil is a good way for the Champions to end the year Chelsea won’t catch City this season but they might catch United in 2nd place.
45 points is 4 points less for Chelsea than at the same stage last season but still trailing City by 13 points when City still have a game in hand shows just how good City have been this season simply blowing everyone else away.

CMan, players can’t play in every game every three days it’s just rotation mate with Arsenal to come on Wednesday. Bakayoko, Christensen and Fabregas are also on the bench with Hazard.

Nil, are you sure Stoke are currently 3 points off the bottom 3 and 17 points off of a Europa League place.
Given Stokes form and injuries I would be bitterly disappointed if Chelsea don’t take 3 points today. But “it’s a funny old game Saint”.?

CMan, I hear what you say about Isco and tbh I would have him at Chelsea in a heartbeat but of the the two players Asensio is the most likely that Real will let go he’s already unhappy at not being a regular starter and has previously said that if Hazard were to come to Real he would leave.
You’re right of course we do play 3/5/2 but we also play 3/4/2/1 and probably more frequently and Asensio would ideally fit that system and just like Hazard could play off Morata as part of a two too.
Isco though would dovetail with Morata brilliantly and they’re best buddies from way back.
Realistically if it was up to the two of us I suspect we would accept either player as part of a deal for Hazard although my preference is that Hazard signs a new contract and stays at Chelsea here’s hoping.? Cheers 999
