I’ve seen both my Grandsons involved in Academies and on the whole I would say the experience has been positive primarily due to the quality of Coaching and Coaches per child which in our youngests Academy is about 8 players per Coach. It’s definitely improved them both.

There’s lot of responsibility that falls on the parents for instance Bristol City Academy U 10’s played Arsenal Academy U 10’s away a few weeks back and the parents were expected to get their boys to and from Arsenal’s London Colney training complex which is a minimum 6 hour round trip.

I think Nil makes a good point the media need to take some responsibility for stirring this particular pot.

We could just let them get on with it but I don’t think it’s great for the game or reflects well on either club.

Reports that the FA and the LMA might get involved in the Mourinho/Conte spat which would seem sensible to me.

Also I think both club’s should have a word with their respective Manager’s and tell them to cool it.

Wise fan, don’t start with all that you are the victim stuff you weren’t driven off Teamtalk by anyone other than yourself.

On the Chelsea site you were warned by the Editor in a very friendly way about how you were speaking and communicating with other posters on the site and took yourself off the site yourself because of it despite originally apologising over it all and on the main site you were banned for trolling and blanketing the site with post after post saying exactly the same thing arguing with dozens and dozens of posters on there turning the forum into almost solely a Wise Fan forum.

On Conte let’s not pretend about your feelings towards him you never wanted him at Chelsea and have called for him to be sacked on more than one occasion and let’s not even get started on your hatred for Mourinho which became an obsession.

If you’re going to start all of your nonsense on here all over again I’m out of here because having to put up with your nonsense on the Chelsea site for years and had to suffer all the conflicts that you created on the site with other posters I’m not prepared to go through it all over again on here.

As I said to you earlier today in one of my posts this is a new site and as far as I’m concerned you start with a clean slate but if you start your nonsense on here all over again I’m a goner because I’ve got better things to do with my time than get caught up in all your nonsense all over again.

Pagan, me too mate be interesting to discuss it with you one of the things it touches on I believe is the recruitment by club’s of 5 year olds for their Academies and I’ve seen that first hand with my Grandson and West Brom and it’s just a bit too young imo.

His younger brother aged 7 is in the County Academy which connects to the local Bristol club’s etc and uses their Coaches but 7 though still young is a better age for me.
