It was a response to both of you Chucky and you constantly use Chavs when you talk about Chelsea with no smiley face which you know full well is not a term of endearment.
But putting all that aside do you disagree that Real are having a very poor season? Which is seemingly why they are looking to be extremely active in the Summer transfer market and the aquisition of Coutinho and Ousmane Dembelle has only added to the pressure on Real.

I don’t know why you Spurs boys get so prickly.
Kane has said what he’s said what he’s said which suggests he might well consider a move to a Super Club like Real if Spurs don’t start to win some trophies and it’s well known that Real quite understandably covet him and this is a transfer thread.
You don’t see any of the Chelsea lads on here me included reacting in the same way to all the links to Hazard that are talked about on here.
It would also be pretty obvious even to a blind man chasing a black cat in a darkened room that Real are having a very poor season the clue is in the fact that they currently trailing Barca in La Liga by 16 points and the fact that Barca just a few weeks ago stuffed Real in the Bernabeau 3 nil.
Shall we not acknowledge the fact that Real are having a very poor season and not the team they were just because it might lessen Spurs 3-1 victory over them in the CL.
This is meant to be a sensible football site where we have sensible football discussions and Real’s decline this season given that they are the current Spanish,European and World Champions is dramatic and a point of interest and worthy of debate and presumably the reason that Real are seemingly chasing players like Kane and Hazard.
Instead there is a resort to Chavs and Norffen Monkeys instead of a sensible discussion.
Such responses are much better left on Teamtalk which I thought we all gravitated from to here to enjoy some sensible football debate!

That’s what this site has over all other sites an Editor who truly cares about the site he’s built who is totally involved in the site who won’t let anyone undermine the philosophy he has for the site.

Perhaps Kane was misquoted??
But it sounds like a shot across the bows to me. No trophies this season for Spurs and Real come in for him in the Summer as rumoured and he’s already laid down the ground rules.
Tbh you can’t blame Kane he’s the best striker in Europe and if he stays at Spurs will he win League titles and the CL at Spurs? which at somewhere like Real he almost certainly will.
When a top player like Kane finishes his career he will have millions in the Bank but it’s not just about the money top players want to win the biggest trophies.

“I think if a player wants to go then why would you stop him?
βHeβs not going to be in the club, heβs not going to play every game, heβs not going to put his heart on the line.β
Kane, 25, has yet to win any trophy with Spurs and he warned the club needed to step up if they wanted him to stay.
“Iβve always said keep progressing, keep getting better, start winning trophies,β he said.
βThatβs the aim, as long as the club keep doing that then, yeah Iβm happy here.β

I think Chelseaman makes a good point you have to separate the man from the Coach Mourinho was and still is one of the best coaches in World football and he hasn’t lost that ability overnight.
It’s only just two years since Mourinho won his third PL title and last season he won the Europa League and the League Cup so I don’t get all this Mourinho has lost it now.
He’s taken over arguably the biggest club in the world who were a mess squad wise right back to the last couple of years of SAF’s tenure and everyone is trailing City currently and Pep as good as he is inherited a much stronger squad than Mourinho although he has recruited well this Summer.
I am sure Mourinho would be the first one to acknowledge he hasn’t got his recruitment policy 100% correct at United but going forwards they have a great spine to build on with De Gea, Bailly, Matic, Pogba and Lukaku and unfortunately he will get it right in the end because a lot of money will be thrown at it to make it happen.

“As a group of players, not just me, we all took note of how good he was right from the start,” Terry told The Coachesβ Voice.
βAnd not just on the training pitch, but away from it too. On the mental side.
βOn reflection, there was a couple of times I was injured, not available for a couple of games coming up.
“Jose would come in, he wouldnβt even speak to me in the treatment room.
“Heβd go around and speak to everybody, and walk out of the room and leave me.
βI swear, as captain of the football club, I was there thinking: βWhy has he not spoken to me?β
“I said to the physio: βIβm training tomorrow. I canβt have the manager not speaking to me.β
JT’s view of Mourinho.

If the FA were going to hit Holgate with a retrospective ban he would normally have been charged by now.
The charges against Firmino will be fully investigated and he will either be cleared or charged.
It’s possible that the FA are looking at the whole incident including the Holgate shove and that he could still be charged yet for the push on Firmino.
Holgate may have started it all off but if Firmino was to be found guilty of using racist language it would probably be a Suarez type ban but currently Firmino remains innocent until proven guilty.

The Kieran Bywater example is a worrying one especially as there is a culling every season from age 7 and the disappointment of something like that can have a significant effect on young minds.

Pagan, I think you’re right about universal usage it should be for every FA Cup game and both League Cup Finals if they want to trial it trial it in something like the EFL trophy.

cm, there’s still a bit if that around but it doesn’t kick in until they are a bit older.
The emphasis now seems to be about loving the ball and each boy has his own ball and is expected to practice on his own with it and there’s a massive focus on improving skill sets and working with the ball.
Whether they are involved in Academies or playing with their mates for the school of their local amatuer club football is a game and it has to be enjoyed.

ppt, sadly imo Mourinho has badly damaged his Chelsea legacy over the last 18 months and although most Chelsea fans particularly the match going fans appreciate what he contributed to the club particularly in his first period I’m not sure too many would want him back and tbh I don’t think there’s any chance of him coming back either way anyway.
I was really disappointed to see him leave the club the first time around and had mixed feelings about him coming back to Chelsea but at the time he was the very best available. Second time around given everything that happened it did feel like the relationship had more than run its course.
I will always be grateful to Mourinho for what he built at Chelsea the essence of which lasted way beyond his first tenure but his last season at Chelsea was draining and it got to where you didn’t want to see what had been unveiled by him in his latest Chelsea press conference but I won’t rubbish his tenures and claim he’s a nothing Coach but personally even if the circumstances were different I wouldn’t want to see him back at the club again.
Just my opinion though mate for what it’s worth. Cheers 999
