I still fancy City for both the PL and the CL this season.

That would be quite a merry go around Ed but I think Poch would be extremely naive to go back to Spurs given Levy’s lack of support for him previously.

Good win for Frank he needed that after the midweek result. I just saw the goals from the City game Sterling’s first was a stonker.

From 9th in the PL to Champions of the World with a Champions League and a European Super Cup thrown in all in just over a year.
Super Tommy Tuchel!π

The good news Ed is that according to today’s Daily Express “Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to become the next permanent manager of Manchester United, according to reports. Pochettino is prepared to ‘push’ through an exit from Paris Saint-Germain to return to England with United. The Argentine has long been linked with the Old Trafford job, dating back to his time in charge of Tottenham.”

I agree with Sean horrible team to play Burnley. Can only see a comfortable Liverpool win though same with City.

Paul Scholes made the point after the game about appointing someone like Rangnick who has hardly coached in the last few years because he’s primarily been a Sporting Director.

Be very surprised if both City and Liverpool don’t win their games reasonably comfortably out of preference though I would rather be playing Norwich away than Burnley away.

Getting into the top 4 is sadly of greater importance to Moyes than doing the right thing.

Not over yet but still a massive task for Liverpool to overhaul City.

“Kurt Zouma’s two cats have been taken away by the RSPCA after shocking footage showed him abusing his pets.
The 27-year-old French defender was filmed dropping, kicking and slapping one of his Bengal cats.
West Ham has also fined him Β£250,000 β two weeksβ worth of wages β and axed him from the squad for the next game.
In a statement today, the RSPCA said: βThe two cats are now in RSPCA care. Our priority is and has always been the wellbeing of these cats.
βTheyβve been taken for a check-up at a vets and then will remain in our care while the investigation continues.
βWeβre grateful to everyone who expressed their concern for these cats. We were dealing with this issue before the video went viral online and are leading the investigation.
βWe continue to investigate so we cannot comment further at this time.β

Let’s hope Zouma’s apology was sincere but the terrible deeds Zouma was responsible for has consequences.
In my opinion Zouma has to be prosecuted his Cats need to be removed to a place of safety and he needs to be banned from owning any pets ever again.
Down to the RSPCA and the Police now I hope they come down hard on Zouma!

Big win for Newcastle Saint-Maximin was excellent, none of the other Clubs in the relegation battle have a player of his class. Everton were poor and not helped by the Gray injury they desperately need to get their missing players back soon Frank has a massive task on his hands and he’s never experienced a relegation battle. Good point for Burnley.
