Adlab, “very high cost and very high wages. Can they really afford it.”
I’m sure there’s enough money in United’s Piggy Bank to afford Casimiro’s circa Β£60m fee and his alleged Β£350k pw wages.

I think Ten Hag would bite your hand off for a draw right now but 3 consecutive draws for Liverpool wouldn’t be what Klopp would want.
Not sure how helpful the anti Glazer demonstration will be to Ten Hag and the United players.

Don’t think Martinez at Centre Back will be such a problem on Monday Ed there’s no Nunez and attack wise Liverpool won’t offer the same physical threat as Brentford.

Chucky. trying to claim some sort of justification for the hair pull doesn’t reflect well on you.
When something like the hair pull incident happens as fans I think we all have to admit our player was in the wrong and there is no justification just like the Suarez biting incidents. Let’s leave it there.

I think Monday’s game is unpredictable I can see United sneaking a win but I can also see Liverpool thumping them. Can’t call it.π
Let’s hope it goes ahead and it’s not postponed due to the Anti Glazer protest.

Chucky, the whole of the football world has confirmed Romero as the aggressor, the officials didn’t do their job that’s now been admitted and Spurs came away with a very fortunate point. Kay Serra Serra.
But of course we’re whining Chelsea always beat (Spurs 4 times last season) it’s a tradition!π

Lucky, I enjoyed Paul Merson’s assesment of the incident.
“Finally, the refereeing in the London derby last weekend simply wasn’t good enough,” he said in his latest Sportskeeda column. “A million ex-Premier League footballers are not working at the moment – put them in the VAR office! I know referees are trained to do their jobs, but they haven’t played the game and have been guilty of making several wrong decisions over the years.
“How can you let hair-pulling go because it isn’t specifically condemned in the rule book? There isn’t a rule that says you can’t shoot someone on the football pitch, but that doesn’t mean it’s allowed?” π€£π€£π€£

Ed, I think the PL based on what’s been said by them recently are going to stiffen the fit and proper persons criteria for potential new owners which may well make it more difficult for potential new owners to buy Clubs if their main objective is sports washing.

Not sure about short arms and deep pockets Chucky, Ratcliffe put in a formal bid for Chelsea of Β£4.5 billion and to do so had to provide proof of funding.

Until the Glazers want to sell United it won’t get sold anytime soon and it remains a money making machine for the Glazers too it’s the asset that keeps on giving.
I’m looking forward to Monday night’s game which now has a certain level of uncertainty about it which wasn’t there before. I hope the Police control the demonstration and it doesn’t get called off as previously.

I heard on SSN’s today that the Glazers value United at Β£6m and MUST are saying any new owner must invest in the redevelopment of the Stadium and the team which could cost up to another Β£2 billion. The above might limit the runners and riders if the Glazers do eventually put United up for sale.

Chucky, Ratcliffe has been a season ticket holder at Chelsea for a while but that’s because he lives in London. He owns Nice and threw his hat into the ring to buy Chelsea but he is a life long United fan.

Ed, very wise. I think we can all agree though that Jim Ratcliffe would almost certainly be United’s best potential new owner.π

Ratcliffe would be a great fit for United Ed especially as he’s a United fan and he could probably personally fund the purchase himself but “if the Club is for sale” are the operative words here and unless the Glazers want to sell the Club which seemingly they don’t they are just yesterday’s fish and chip paper.

SSN’s reporting that the Glazers could be about to sell a minority share in United valuing the Club at circa Β£5 billion but they have no plans to sell the whole Club.

Ed, you’re right Ten Hag needs time. United need for him to work out but I’m not sure managing in the Dutch League gives him the level of experience he needs to manage United time will tell a win v Liverpool would be a step in the right direction though.

Ed,not buying 5ft 9 inches Centre Backs to play in a very physical PL could be just as important as new owners a lot of United’s problems are down to poor purchasing over many years.

Andersen speaks to police after death threats:
After an altercation with Nunez, which led to the Liverpool striker being sent off on his Anfield debut, Crystal Palace defender Andersen has been subject to a torrent of online abuse in the aftermath.
The Denmark defender posted several examples of the abuse he has received, including death threats, to his Instagram story on Tuesday, and according to various reports, he has now chosen to speak to the police.
The PA news agency claim Andersen has chosen to engage Palaceβs police liaison officer and the Premier League, who have a team set up to investigate the abuse.
βGot maybe 300-400 of these messages last night,β Andersen said on Instagram.
βI understand you support a team but have some respect and stop act tough online.”
Unfortunately we’ve all got our idiots!
