I know City scored a goal in under a minute and Wolves were down to 10 men but City won that game so comfortably and another goal for Haaland too.

The first 2 goals from Son were world class Leicester played quite well in sectors of that game but defensively they looked so fragile.
You would imagine that’s the end of Rodgers I don’t think they’ll find a better Manager but they have to try a change in the international break imo.
For any chance of survival they will have to spend some money in January.
Congrats to Spurs perfect tactics and Son is a wonderful player.I don’t think Spurs will win the PL but they will definitely make the top 4.

Two decent games on TV today.
Slightly tricky game for City at Wolves and they might need another Haaland winner.
Difficult to look past a Spurs win which would put further pressure on Rodgers.

Silly reaction Chucky, it’s a bona fide story worthy of discussion on here the facts are the facts Conte’s contract runs out in the Summer and Kane’s contract has a year to run from the Summer.
For Spurs sake hopefully Conte extends his contract with Kane then likely to follow.

Same probably applies to Kane who will only have a year left on his contract next Summer and is probably looking for Conte to commit himself to Spurs past June 23 before he commits himself to Spurs further.

Ed, if Conte doesn’t sign a contract that takes him past June 23 then the conjecture on Conte’s future will continue if he’s commited to Spurs he will commit to a contract past June 2023 if not the conjecture will continue Juve given their current problems are an obvious link.

“Antonio Conte will not be renewing his contract with Tottenham Hotspur, and βcanβt waitβ to return to Juventus amid continued speculation about their management situation. The Italianβs current deal in north London is due to expire in June 2023.” (Paolo Bargiggia)
Not sure how much truth there is in this but Conte never hangs around for long and Juve would be a huge draw. So maybe not Tuchel or Poch?

I can’t see TAA starting either given his current form and the fact he seems to have lost any urgency when defending.
However in forward mode he remains a very good player though. I would definitely take him to Qatar because of that bringing him on late in a game when England are chasing a goal he could make the difference.

Ed, I think Tuchel would be a good fit at Juve.

Good comeback from City another goal for Haaland this really could be their year.
A much better performance from Chelsea unfortunately not the required win it will take time to get back to where we want to be.
A perfect tribute to the Queen at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea Pensioners laying wreaths an impromptu singing of the National Anthem and a perfect minutes silence where you couldn’t hear a pin drop.
Unnecessary and disgraceful banners from Celtic fans on display in Poland which caused BT Sport to apologise for them it’s a shame the cameras picked them up and the press printed pictures of them they were best completely ignored.

Seemingly Adlab has the inside track on Bellingham?
Be surprised if all of the top 6 Clubs aren’t going to be interested in him if he becomes available.
Liverpool have chased him for a while though.

The Premier League has agreed with UEFA to postpone Arsenalβs Premier League match with Manchester City, originally due to be played on 19 October, to allow for Arsenalβs re-arranged UEFA Europa League match with PSV Eindhoven.
“Arsenal v PSV Eindhoven, originally scheduled to be played on Thursday 15 September, will now be played on Thursday 20 October, 18:00.
“A new date for the Arsenal v Manchester City fixture will be announced in due course.”

“Itβs only an idea of course but itβs one I don’t like.”
Fair do’s Lucky I’m not saying I’m pro it I just think new ideas are worthy of debate that’s all and there are things we can learn from the States re Sports development even if it’s that’s not the way to go.π

But all that happens in internationals now Lucky.
It won’t happen but ideas that cause debate as to how football can create funds for those less fortunate in football is positive imo.

Didn’t we used to have some level of play offs for relegation?
Nothing wrong imo with looking at ways to raise money for those less fortunate in football imo.
I very much doubt either idea will be picked up but debate is good for the game and might throw up other ideas.
If we dismissed all new ideas we wouldn’t have a Premier League!

Agree with Lucky in a crowd of 50,000 there will always be some dissenters the same happened at Wrexham. The fact is the vast majority of Liverpool fans paid their respects to the Queen.

Sporting played some nice neat football but until they scored looked blunt up front two great late goals though.

Nil. why wouldn’t the Nation’s League go ahead.
To be fair the Nation’s League is a UEFA initiative not an FA initiative and all the countries in Europe participate.
Love it or loathe it you can’t blame the FA.
