Ed, if Ronaldo wants to beat Messi to CL goals then he needs to sign for a Club that’s got every chance of making the CL next season this season whoever he signs for might be for just 2 games.

There’s no barrier now to Ronaldo playing in the CL this season having already played in the EL.

Sean,yeah it’s a difficult one I guess that’s why United have got their lawyers involved so early. United won’t want to see it end in Court so a settlement of some sort seems most likely?

I don’t think he’ll go to a PL Club. Certainly not Chelsea as he wants a CL Club and I don’t think Chelsea will be in the CL next season.

Ed, this is Ronaldo’s nuclear attempt to force his way out there’s no way back for Ronaldo at United and it’s beyond Ten Hag’s remit now.

United will undoubtedly want to sack him with no financial responsibility on them that depends on their lawyers advice or they will need to come to the best agreement they can with Ronaldo’s lawyers re paying him off something they will understandably won’t want to do because they won’t want to see him financially rewarded in any way.

Fabrizio Romano’s view on Potter? He’s not often wrong:

“Potter signed a five-year contract with Chelsea just a couple of months ago, and according to Romano, this will not change any time soon.

“Internally at Chelsea, the board and of course Todd Boehly absolutely trust Graham Potter and his idea and project for the present and the future,” the Italian journalist said on his YouTube channel.

Ed. I’m not sure where Greenwood will be going but it’s unlikely to be back to United.

Big difference Chucky is that Greenwood has been charged and is due to appear in Manchester Crown Court on November 21st whereas the unnamed player is on bail and has yet to be charged and will play in the World Cup.

Is continuing to play for your Club and in the World Cup ok like you I’m not sure.
