Super Forest, joy to watch as a Neutral and really appreciating Chris Wood. Just a really Lovely Professional.

Surely one of the teams of the year. Nuno seemingly is a fit for Forest. Playing good counter-attacking football.

Just checked; Arsenal are injury-hit. Raya also struggling. City missing Doku. Think Grealish’s days are numbered if Pep now starts to use his new signing Marmouche.

Just realised if Man City were to win tomorrow, they would only be 3 points behind the Gunners; would they be considered back into the Title Race?

Hello Chucks my Good Friend; just logged and the Title of the Thread is Perfect for my very thoughts of January.
Liverpool toughed out January and overall with the 8 games played, Grateful is more than the word I’d be looking for. I thought we may have lost against Forest and Brentford, players picking up injuries and you know the rest.
I’m led to believe compared to Jurgen, Arne has relaxed the Regime. I hope this really is True.
February laid out looks challenging so like January, just really gotta maintain grip and focus game by game.
You guys will find the net at Brentford, but I hope you will give them the respect they deserve as they really are a Credit to Top Flight.
Cheers
Just don’t let too many in 😉 🙂

30th January 2025 at 9:42 am in reply to: Champions League New Format and First Phase Matches #217640PSV played us and were naughty a bit with their antics but the lads for me still done themselves and us proud. It was good for them to get Champions League minutes under their belts; Bradley one example.
2 defeats in all comps is just a proud stat. Yeah, just hope we get a nice draw tomorrow.

Not significant, but don’t want us to lose either! Right-hand side exposed though nothing absolutely to take from PSV. They’ve been Value!
City meanwhile are a goal down. What is Happening?!?!?!

Happy Slot is utilizing the squad as he should as we already have qualified and need to think Saturday and Bournemouth. The other guys can have the minutes and sparkle! 🙂 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/live/cn01qn4q8x9t#Line-ups

Not sure whether sacked or left on own accord, but Steven Gerrard has gone. I wonder if he returns back to England.

I am liking this new format and excited everybody is playing all at the same time this evening as part of it’s conclusion.
Wanting to see in particular how the different permutations pan out to get a better sense of it.
The play off’s bit seems interesting.

It looks as though the push for a move is coming from Felix.
Villa will be good for him as he is skilful

Yeah Chucks sorry I didn’t explain myself well enough mate. I’ll use Barca as an example in what happened with Suarez, Coutinho and Gundogen.
I think this happened years back with Scott Sinclair and most recently with Danny Drinkwater who I think now works in a Bank.
These big money moves appear ‘promise-land’ yet I think it’s more of a hidden agenda from clubs buying them.
