PPT, there are players like this in the market which often can be found in the Championship. But it’s for those out there to ultimately give these people the opportunities.
I often wonder the point of both Raglan Klavan and Alberto Moreno when I could imagine there are better players out there in our English Leagues.

15th January 2018 at 11:03 am in reply to: Cyrille Regis MBE : Ex-West Brom and England forward dies aged 59 #12545Can’t believe it.
Most memorable memory of his was him in his Coventry City colours re the 87 Cup Final.
59 way too young in this day and age.
Rest In Peace Cyrille.

C/Man, feel that way myself based on my own life experience in which I’ve shared already on here. There are lots of loyal people though realistically due to the ongoing issues, that’s just them done.

What an arrow of a finish. Top top draw.
I don’t understand of late the criticism, but Sadio today was first class; those 3 in Fiminho and Salah just need to work together and have a good healthy relationship on the pitch.

Mav : 8:53, lol, if you believe in John Barnes, Watford, Solvite and the 900,000 pound move, I’ll give you 1000 Karmas lol 😀 🙂 😛
P.S. Score 1 point is my favourite feature. Ed is secretly naughty, wonder if Mark put him us to this lol 😀 🙂

It’s all about opinions, but never rated John Stones and still don’t.
Otamendi more self-assured.
On Firmino: reminded me of a blueprint moment when Robbie Fowler shrugged off Gary Neville to put Liverpool 2-1 up at Old Trafford.
Today really brought back a feeling of classic SUPER SUNDAYS when Liverpool bossed games even though with very little to show in Silverware.
P.S. Thomas and Barnes 🙂

Not really sure what to say. From observation, I feel for the lad and haven’t seen or heard of any hype for, if anything a fair few seasons.
The purpose of his loan spell at Bournemouth was to obviously get some games under his belt as well as being able to deal with his injuries.
I would openly admit to once saying on record as having him down to replace Steven Gerrard. I felt at one time he had the British Bulldog in him and somebody getting stuck in and not afraid to try one outside the box.
He has been mild-mannered since coming back this season into the Gunners fold. I just certainly as far as their midfield goes, it’s fragmented. Arsene in reality doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going with Sanchez. Ozil looks somebody on the fringes of leaving. Wilshere in fairness to him doesn’t really have people to bounce off.

Duplicate the above thoughts!
He was immense today. Something in which Liverpool have missed for a long time.

I believe it’s feasible. This is because Rooney who was one of if not their highest wage earner obviously isn’t there.
Of course United in their capacity can facilitate this; Radamel, Di Maria; they must have been on a good whack, possibly 200k in excess – I may be wrong.

Mav, I was actually more surprised by the inclusion of Delph.
There’s a genuine World Class player in the Pipeline ala Gudgon – he makes things happen. Hopefully one that stays in the Premier League. Bernado Silva too, genuine gravy.
PPT, commiserations mate, tough one to take I can imagine, but you guys never give up and was fortunate to see you live last month.
Commiserations too to fellow City supporters, Jim, Brian, Adlab, Goats, GiBlues, Cityboy54 – one of the bunch of supporters and genuinely a good sporting bunch.

14th January 2018 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Wayne Clarke 1987 – Ending Liverpool's 29 unbeaten run of League games #12445Haha, well, we were 4-1 up at one point – stuck with my 5-0 prediction.
The main point though re this thread, I gods honest truth knew from December we’ll have this day and it would be us to finally put an end to City’s unbeaten run.

On Karius, I know there’s an argument about his near post, but that strike I just knew from Sane would end up in the back of the net.
This strike reminds me a bit of a certain Robbie Fowler V Peter Schmeichel 1995 when Fowler bulleted the ball so hard, there was only one place of it ending up.

WOW!!!
They should release a DVD for this, haha. Definitely not one for the Pulse and the Heart!!!
There were genuine alarm bells even with only a minute to play once Liverpool’s assistant Manager risen from his chair which made Jurgen Klopp notice and treat the situation seriously.
Individuals like Benardo Silva, Leroy Sane, and Gudgon can’t be treated lightly because they can spray the ball in little pockets and catch us off guard just like the back end of the first half when the game was going flat and some players out there looked drowsy. It only takes one moment to change the course of the game and give you a rude awakening.
Of course, I thought we could go on to score more to make it 5, even 6, but at the back of your mind you always sense City have a goal in them and that completely epitomizes everything about them this season.
Full credit to Gini who for me was man of the match. I have rightly criticized them in the past because this is the player and the finished article I am looking for, like a Michael Thomas to tidy up, be robust, hold the ball and deliver that dribbling ability. Wijnaldum now for me has these qualities and a huge well done to him.
I genuinely knew and had a premonition we’d have this day because in spite of our vulnerability in defence we have improved in the league immensely and the fact that we’ve now been unbeaten in 17-18 games speaks volumes.
All goals just wonderful to watch and all without our former little Brazilian.

Still early to rule out, but not looking too clever for Arsenal with this defeat at Bournemouth.

Gundog’s a cracking player and I read somewhere how he turned down Liverpool. He really is one find who makes things happen. Hopefully, he’ll be contained by our lot this afternoon.
