Cue to negativity and ‘same old same old lark’.
Got the radio on and people saying we’ve not improved any more since we had Rodgers. Then all the Coutinho clichés come out. I honestly swear by that these places are really unhealthy. It’s ruined some part of me in being on various different sites for 10 years.
Fabianski ALWAYS ups his game against us. He did that during Arsenal. Swansea have been our bogey team and a team I’ve just never liked since their inception in the Prem. Hope they go down.
Our problem is that we struggle when there’s far to many opposition shirts to break down against. Our attack just didn’t pull off.
I’m not changing my vision in saying we’ve done better than we have last season. 2 Defeats away from home against better quality opposition and 1 defeat against a team bottom of the pile scrapping for their lives isn’t bad going.
Just need to find like-minded and positive people who think this way too and steer clear of those that for years have and will continue to wear you down.
Monkey off our back. Now let’s move and enjoy the Cup Game This Saturday Night.

There wasn’t much in that Swansea goal, they just got lucky. Van Dijk’s been pretty impressive, but he’s gonna need obviously game time to bed in. Gomez has been going, but Swansea have basically just parked the bus then just play at hoofing the ball in our box hoping the ball will just land on their lap and guess what? It did!
Nearly levelled with Mane, but we need to step it now when it comes to attacking them.
I think there’s definitely an equalizer in the right into the second half.

Sad loss of a true Gentleman.
I got into listening to Radio commentary around 1994 and when Alan Green was a regular, Jimmy Armfield was often the summarizer – just fabulous especially when commentating Liverpool matches on a Saturday afternoon.
Great listening experience and memories.
Rest In Peace Jimmy Armfield.

Jim, I’ll say this and will leave it be for tonight; it seemed to me you didn’t seem happy with Van Dijk choosing Liverpool over Manchester City. What really is the problem here? Is Liverpool Football Club bottom shelf? 18 League Championships and 5 European Cup Titles.
You gave me some re Alfie this morning who went out of his way in being civil last night to exercise a really good point, and this is why I thank goodness in this Forum having equilibrium.
Do I everyday like Manchester City’s pants being all wet and sucked upon day in day out by posters?
It’s DEMOGRAPHICS. I know in eventuality Manchester City will probably go on to win it, but my no means am I here to build up a Cake and blow the Candles. That’s not me straight up.

Nine, no worries. I truly appreciate you have to do your job, but not having it mate. I get cussed left right and centre by people on here just for choosing the RIGHT option. Very little are decent here, god’s honest truth aside yourself and Alfie. The rest just seem to feed dis-courteous replies. WHO IS BENI: Where do we start with him? He’s never offered Zilch, yet he bothers me every single time, yet I’ve never bothered him and once and for all I want to MEET him face to face.
There’s always sarcasm met, when I am being purely honest.

I’ve been to a couple of Leicester games this season so far in the Kop and fortunately, some old skool sanity in the Kop being the Kop even at a newer stadia, but I would say momentarily, I’ve been guilty of taking my phone out.
That’s the key though, just in an odd moment here and there or if you are filming, be subtle about it.

Haha, didn’t take to any offence to it at all my friend and always enjoy a good convo with yourself.
Ha, they were programmes I was a fan of as in the 80s. When I was a kid, we had Bullseye in our house and my Mum would put the kettle on for all of us.
My Brother loved Gladiators and had a Sticker Album 🙂
Oh yes, as far as Music goes, I’m right with you there as Little Mix don’t even actually sing live when they are on stage (so I’m told).
Too much of a tech world I live in. Society has forgotten how to look people in the eye, smile and be polite at the very least. People now just stare down their Phones.
Can’t really see anything coming from Teresa May haha, so it’s up to me in life to adjust myself accordingly

Both Man United and Chelsea look firm and unlikely to slide out. I would say it’s Liverpool given our recent history after the 14/15 season. I said in another thread we have improved against this time last year and have become more resilient.
However, it would only take a couple of bad results from us for the table to shape differently.
Had a sort of a similar type of conversation with Brian here, and being a fan these days when you’re attached to clubs with potential and levels of expectation, you’re effectively in a Rat Race.
Take Man City to one side, and I believe we’re in a 2 tier type of a Premier League.
I suppose too, with the contributions of Television money that I believe has bettered clubs financially, our league in recent years I’m happy to say is more of a level playing field.
It could be better if Salaries and transfer fees were regulated, and maybe at some point in time, once the bubble bursts, we may eventually see that.

Southampton sucked into the bottom 3, on 22 points with todays draw, but Everton in 9th place have 28 and a difference of 2 wins.
Just shows how there’s more of an even line and can’t recall a lot of seasons in my lifetime in following the PL where it’s been sort of neck & neck, but wide open for teams to fluctuate their occupying places quite easily.
Meanwhile, need to win our game tomorrow night to go 5 clear and give us some breathing space.

Ideally for us, Liverpool need to win a Cup – FA Cup seems the realistic and an attainable target. I would love for us to actually go all the way in the Champions League even if we were finalists. 2nd or 3rd would be improvement as far as the League goes, but the challenge is keeping hold of Salah and Mane.
Jurgen is slowly building something at the club and I can’t see him leave, but the Owners need to really back him on the pitch, otherwise it really is 1 step forward 2 steps back.
