There’s far too much political correctness and something said probably 10 years for example could be back-tracked.
It’s stupid. Having said that, if that’s how Phil Neville deep inside feels about Women then why is he working with them?
On the same token, one is entitled to an opinion and values, but that shouldn’t really prohibit him from working. All he has to do is make that clear in the dressing room right from the start and state he is essentially here to do a job.

Think in essence people need to give people a serious break on here.

I do feel things a lot of the time are taken too far here. I don’t know whether it’s down to a ‘Big Brother’ too close of a knit environment and not enough other people in essence to be able to interact with.
I noticed in that ‘Prediction Table’ how many other names attached in which I’ve never seen not a single contribution.

“Grow a pair ‘Lads'” That’s a typical “it’ll all be alright on the night”.
I really hate when people say grow a pair as they have no idea of the real world.

Micro Management is the overall answer here.
There’s Posters from Various clubs and there are tensions granted and fall-outs. This is essentially for your own board to talk through in-house.

Steady! This is the first comment I’ve read on here all day. This very forum has hyped Pep Guardiola.
The reason why I wax lyrical on Jurgen Klopp is that there’s qualities on him specifically in which Liverpool have lacked.
Don’t take a comment like this too seriously – that’s why we have individual forums.
Not that I have to explain myself to you but:
Klopp’s been ridiculed on here via the General Forum, and people have poked fun on here which is all good fun – even on the Liverpool individual Message Boards!!!!!

In games like yesterday, we couldn’t get the end product from our players and find the back of the net. Albeit their goal, they have one tamed effort to add to that from Ayew.
I think we ourselves had 4 on target which is obviously unusual and that’s because Swansea parked the bus (they are well within their rights to).
We have had lots of games like this in recent times, so this is not something that hasn’t in regular been accustomed to us. Think to 08/09 when we had 3 draws at Home. We had only registered 2 defeats all season, yet we fell short in spite of having Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard in truly great form.
Coutinho is a big loss to us and I think the Ox can step it up, though not really one of his most effective of games yesterday. Solanke has gone quiet and off the radar. Ings is just in no man’s land for us purely because of his lengthy spell out – not his fault though.
Just needed somebody really insistent, flamboyant, clever, and aggressive. It’s easy to say that though in hindsight. There’s no science to suggest that game would have been won on the pitch had Coutinho played.
I remember us beating Norwich at Carrow Road with that Lallana last minute over-head kick and we win I think something like 5-4. The same Lallana misses not even from a yard, so this is football and even though it’s a big kick in the teeth, there’s no point really in beating ourselves up.
Transfers and recruit are challenging for us. We need to think outside the box a bit and put ourselves out to bring in a quality fresh face just to freshen up the squad and I feel this is where we’re short and not really overall, as million miles behind.

Yeah, you might be right Adlab re BT Sport; might have summat to do with their initial launch year and our 13/14 season π :-D.
But I would rather something like Silverware was won than popularity mate. Believe, that’ll serve you with more happiness and joy.

Chucky, he stretched, but I think he should have been more alert for that sort of thing to happen and consider his positioning in the first place.
In all fairness, that fell on the sixpence and it was luck.
We should be flattered teams go out of their way to set themselves up the way they do to thwart us. All in all though, I doubt it’s a jot of a reflection on us, but an aspiration for them to try and climb out of the bottom 3.

Pax you’ve honestly have lost me?
I’m backing Jurgen Klopp as much as I can – his position is not under threat.
Edit:
See what you mean, Pax – read your question wrongly. We’ll I can see any hype on Klopp, can you?!

I wouldn’t care a jot what people would say after a defeat it meant I was still sat top of the tree and over a dozen points ahead of my nearest challengers.
It’s nothing personal too albeit the usual ‘build them up then take them down’.
That’s how they all work, frustratingly.

Nice shout Nine, and agree with all of that.
Truth is the true re Couts, but we always had to face the eventuality of him leaving us once the floodgates had opened re Barca.
I was pleased on the whole re Van Dijk and he played with a smile on his face, but you’re right, he’s not essentially there with the assurance that our ‘leak’ is sealed. I feel a lot of that has something to do with Karius and a more agile and vigilante of and a more vigilante of a keeper might have saved that.
If we get through our next half-dozen matches without defeat from all comps, I’d be happy with that.
Cheers

The City thing is for 2 reasons from my POV:
1) I don’t want them walking away with it with a big chunk of points half-way into March
2) The excess hype on Pep Guardiola.
Other than that, like them, their style of football, a lot of their players and their supporters who are actually brilliant.

My thoughts from yesterday was just pre-empting the usual clichΓ©`s our detractors would come out. Always better to suck it up and don’t let them grind you down too much.
I thought it was a big kick in the nuts from a point of view to take us to another level to close in on Chelsea and United. Plenty of games to go and apart from probably 3/4 teams away from home, I’m optimistic going forward but collectively, all the players need to step it up.
Of course it always hurts when a player of Coutinho’s calibre and excellence leaves, and we have done good to pull in an extra new face – maybe a new Striker altogether. We can’t just go out and magically just buy somebody like a Supermarket transaction.
Always worth putting into perspective that we are currently placed on the right side of 4th and not being pegged back to let’s say 7 or 8th with a continuous pattern of indifferent results – lost our shooting boots last night.
It’ll come good
