Not being funny, but are opposition fans just in here to be biased against Liverpool and be selective in what they choose to post?

I think the main thing for us is to be able to show our resilience in being able to cope well with the spell of pressure.
There’s a clear expectation for us to just roll-over for them. I don’t even particularly think City are playing ‘that’ well. They are trying to hurry everything and rather than pander to their circus, WE the ONES who need to take control of proceedings.

I suppose the point I was trying to drive at was in the direction of companies and retailers having to make significant changes to remain existent never mind keep afloat.
Some New Look stores forced to close down, Toys R Us sadly going, and itβs rumoured, NEXT too could be under threat with the drop in their profits.
Some of those occupying the high-street are really feeling it more than ever and itβs peopleβs livelihoods that I care about._____________________________

Well, happy on the whole from waking up and I have a good feeling about tonight;
as long as we’re not complacent, and we treat this as a new game altogether giving a wholehearted application, then I’d otherwise already be proud of how far this club has come over the last 12 months.
Our transition from recent years from a bigger picture for me sees improvement. Sure, there’s going to be bumps, but when you get knocked out of the cup uncharacteristically, don’t be on the phone calling for the Manager’s head when only 2 league games at the time have been lost against 2 good teams all season.
Stick it with it. Our challenge is holding on to the very best players, and then building a squad around them and for the future.
I believe everybody will be switched on and wont drop their guard. If anything, I can definitely see Ederson beaten between the sticks at least once if not twice and we’ll come good.
COME ON THE REDMEN!!!!! YNWA

I don’t know if we missed a trick not signing Hernandez. Although in reality, it’s taken games for the lad to really get into his stride, but he’s got it in him to pull the rabbit out of the hat.
Our own guys in Solanke and Ings, just looked like 1st years playing with 5th years.
This draw in context of consolidating 4th looks better for Liverpool as 7 points only needed from the last 5 games, but there isn’t any room for complacency, and we have to push Man United all the way.

Well, just got back from my local and the good gent behind the bar who is a Liverpool fan is a lot confident than I am as he believes we’ll score 2! π
He also mentioned the prospect of City scoring 7 lol π
I fully agree in context of thoughts on here so far; that 10-15 opening spell will be defining as of the tail end of the game too.
I’m not sure whether this was the Champions League or at the time the Carling Cup, but I watched such a wonderful game of football on tv against Chelsea and we got knocked out on the return leg. I can’t quite remember the circumstance, but I think it could have been the season with Craig Bellamy.
Oh the whole, I feel these are the 2 best teams in the Prem that play the best football that’s done England proud.

It takes properly a good 3-4 years for a new manager to come him and develop his own squad.
Klopp inherited Brendan’s players who himself inherited what other predecessors had left, even a couple of what Rafa bought in Lucas and Skrtel.

Sean, yeah, I thought that too re next Tues.
They’re clearly going to go gung-ho and that first 10-20 spell in particular is going to be critical for us as far as resilience goes.
That’s why I’m a bit scared too and not counting my chickens. If we muster their pressure well and score at least on goal, then we stand a chance as they would need to score 5 overall to force the tie into extra time.

Sean, maybe that’s been United’s problem; the man-management.
You get the feeling Jose insists in keeping certain personalities in check and holding them back from truly flourishing or restricting them in a certain way to how they approach the game.
He had this with Joe Cole during his Chelsea days.
We’ve yet to see the real Pogba in my view.

Looked at those currently on loan and it’s probably fair to assume, Klopp doesn’t really want these players like Origi and Markovic. How well have they progressed elsewhere?
I do miss Jon Flanagan though, but we have plenty now for that right-back pos.
Shame Ings hasn’t really worked out for us. Solanke looks like a rabbit in headlights at times, but on other occasions looks as though he could be effective for us.
Was just thinking along the lines of somebody like Josh King just as a squad striker. I actually don’t know why we didn’t go in for Theo Walcott. I don’t think he’s been that good for Everton and could have partnered the Ox instead.

Having ‘studied’ the table, City remain on 84 points, whilst United increase total to 71.
Now this to me is deemed as a bit of a 6 pointer in spite of this being late in the day with only 6 games to go.
I say this because City now are far from ‘one win away’. Sure, they look to be on course, but mathematically speaking, United can maximize their total to 89 points, so it’s ideally 2 wins away, unless United stumble themselves.
Whilst it’s an unlikely change in the tide, I’d say next weekend at Tottenham isn’t going to be easy.
And, the fixtures after that face sides threatened with relegation and fighting for their lives at the business end of the season. So it could be that getting over the finishing line is delayed either towards the end of the month or even as far as May day Bank Holiday.

Not sure on the back of what happened again Man United, whether psychologically, that’ going to help us.
I was surprised though that inside one half on their own patch, City managed to concede 3 goals.
I’m not sure whether there’s a slight indication of the gloves being off.
I wonder though from the point of view of challenging for the title whether perhaps this was some sort of a twist or a turning point. It’s highly unlikely anything like that could happen now because it’s a little too late in the day as there’s very little games.
