Best performance of the season. International and so controlled. No bookings in the entire match. Double over the reigning 🏆 champions. Only we can stuff it up now.💯💥💫

M a g n I f I c e n t so far, but a little too good to br true. A third goal would kill it but if they score first early, then game on ⚽️⚽️🎉🎊

Pep’s gone all gung-ho on selecting an all-attack line up. There’s hardly any defence! Diaz, Kovacic, Silva more defensive all on the bench.

Gotta a funny feeling Haaland will play today. Pep definitely will try and play attack and try and get an early goal. We need to be solid and be prepared for that early burst from City.
I’d take a draw now, but others rightly would argue we should really be going for all 3 points.

We can’t say the standard of this league has been poor. Or can we? I don’t know. My brain is slightly frazzled lol! 😀

This thread is titled a moment of Silence, haha.
I don’t what the mood will be like this time tomorrow evening. What if City were to thrash us.
Although not a complete “hold my beer” moment, the mood since the result really has lifted my spirits like a gift handed over. 8 points clear with 12 matches to go but I did feel Liverpool are going to drop more points probably as draws from winning positions unless we get back to be watertight in our defence.

The United Team reportedly went on a cheap night out; money’s a bit tight at the mo 😉

Man City are allowed one ‘off season’. They can still finish with an FA Cup which I think they will win if it’s not a Forest or a Newcastle.
Obviously, they’ll lose out on Revenue, but I’m sure it wont hurt their owners too much 😉

Good Morning Chucks mate,
Does this mean Marmoush will have his boots fully laced for Sunday 🙂 This is where I can see us losing. Problem has been in pattern is that we’ve dropped leads. Surprised we have remained undefeated bar Forest for this long.
Gunners have an opportunity to close the gap. There’s people on Twitter getting carried away. We play the Gunners at Anfield as well I think late April. You should win at Portman Road comfortably as with Gunners versus West Ham 🙂

19th February 2025 at 10:14 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #2187202-2 Fair Result and Credit to both Unai and Aston Villa. They played how they wanted to.
Gakpo Evidently missed. We need another defensive midfield to be able to slow down the tempo and command.
Lack of investment from FSG, let’s not deflect the elephant in the room.
Doldrums it feels being 8 points clear with an extra game played.
Football can do this to you 🙂

Deeper issues mate as you may be aware re the protests on ticket prices.
Not surprisingly, Levy is losing support from many fans.

17th February 2025 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218699Chucks, you actually have a valid point. It’s whether or not those teams below United can pu on a sequence of at least 2 wins in succession.
Everton are a good blueprint with their recent revival under Moyes

16th February 2025 at 6:45 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218694There’s no way on this earth United will get relegated. I mean I praise Ipswich for their try and Wolves too, but Leicester for example are poor. Saints effectively down. Unless these teams just find a sequence of wins and United go the other way, I can’t see it happen.

16th February 2025 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218689Well we just about held on!!
What a 7 days it’s been. Dumped out of the FA Cup, dropping 2 points at Everton, and having to tough out the latter second half for the 3 points versus Wolves.
No easy ride, but the points means we are 7 clear again with games played all square and 13 left.
