Ruud has shown more passion and emotion than ETH did in the whole of his own reign. Match dull overall. There used to be characters, flair and skill as far as these teams go once upon a time.

Neville can’t be accused of bias. He thought that should have been a Red.

Keeper made the mistake there. No need for it.

United defending well so far; hard for Chelsea to find the spaces they want.

Too early to read too much into results and standings. The plus for Liverpool is that a few of their harder matches are out of the way such as Man U-Arsenal Away and Chelsea home. Our toughest tests will be City and Chelsea away.
It’s down to quality squad depth and injuries which certain teams are feeling at the moment.
Not to get carried away because the moment their is adversity, the knives are out.

Ed, I think it’s more of a Testament to the Forest and the Villas in how this League has shaped. I’m absolutely flattered we are where we are. We’re sort of hanging by the thread with certain players come to the end of their careers.
Klopp brought in Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Endo who really have excelled to becoming good players, but Slot really hasn’t tasted any new transactions since.
I also think and would question teams being able to perform best versions Tuesday /Wednesday into Saturday/Sunday even though there is squad rotation.
Only 10 games in, but things honestly can change within a couple of bad results – count our lucky stars we are where we are 🙂

Take Nunez off, put Gakpo or Salah as a Centre Forward and bring on Diaz.
We need depth in Midfield. Zobo needs to come off too. Brighton defending really well, but we have been sloppy. The basics have been average and not really threatening.

Glad to have you return WIB, hope you post more often.
Dunno if the out will change Sean. Newcastle seem on top of this and don’t look like they’ll let up.

Sean, you may well be right mate; no easy ride and Brighton will give as good as they get. They should get the respect they deserve. I am liking Jaros; what a fine back-up Keeper. We should have some fresh players to play tomorrow.
Looking forward to the 3pm kick off.

Well guys of Man United on here; New Beginnings and Turning The Page (as a certain Keir Starmer not so long ago said!).
Should be better exciting times ahead. Need to give this new guy a proper opportunity and need to draw a line under past regime and all the problems brought. It’s about trying to find solutions and explore the football world under Amorim. See what he brings you guys.

Yes, this is like a countdown now of making the most of the next 10 days or so because you know what is around the corner for yet another 2 weeks.
Some really good matches to look forward too. If I was a betting person, I would be more inclined to go against than for what looks winnable on paper.
The matches on Sunday really do look interesting. Definitely a few upset on the cards, you can bank on that! 😉

Thread looks like it’s spiralling a bit out of control and ETH being compared to one of the best managers Liverpool have ever had.
That Europa Final was dead close back in 2016. Wish Klopp and Pool did win that. He would have completed the full-set under his reign.

Age-wise if there is a classification as young; maybe we’re looking at 39-42. Jose was about that age when he joined Chelsea back in 2004, but I’m alluding to probably somebody like a Brendan Rodgers. He really worked wonders with Sturridge, Sterling and Suarez and almost won us the title, but lacked a Plan B and a Pragmatic approach when needed to close off certain opposition.
