Rio, McCoist and Jagielka – brilliant blue bias.

12th February 2025 at 9:52 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218650Lived up to their name didn’t they. Classless team that probably never even heard of the 1987 Everton. Tarkowski – Jagielka. They thrive on this because that’s their fairytale to stop something good.
Proud of our players. I don’t think our performance can be criticised if another team’s intention is to purely stop flow; may as well be “just stop oil people” in orange!!
Horrible draw bit like Man United. 4 points lost against these teams, but we are 7 clear and Top of The League.

12th February 2025 at 8:23 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218645Our players are classy and want to actually play football. These on the other hand don’t even make it as ‘kick and rush’. They’re just interested in nullifying Liverpool kicking lumps out of them and then their supporters roar and fan the flames.

12th February 2025 at 6:45 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218636Pleased with the line up. The fickleness from some of our own fans. on the back of last Sunday’s defeat and Diaz should be sold…..
Diaz is upfront as sole striker, so this should be interesting and a threat level with Gakpo also starting and playing on the left. We should be ready for this one.

12th February 2025 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Week 25: “Has Beans” Derby… and the last Mersyside Derby at Goodison #218635Good point Sean mate. Possession is decimated often where for us, Macca and Grav will be involved. Pray for no injuries, booking or sending offs. They’ve got their 12 man and they’re going to make it intimidating for us so we can’t afford to be antagonised!

11th February 2025 at 8:43 pm in reply to: Champions League New Format and First Phase Matches #218622It does look good so far for Man City edging closer to half-time.
Real I would expect to grow in the second half; not staying at 1-0.

Lots of PL Teams falling in the hands of early exits this year. Food for thought.

If anybody can help me out here that would be great so I’m tangled up on the meaning of supplement and compliment in relation to yesterday’s team selection by Slot.
Something I read on twitter yesterday that struct me. A few of those players when added to the best team present themselves with their ability so you think to yourself, “yeah they’re pretty good” but then when thrown in with a bunch of youth, they then appear average or below. Chiesa definitely one of them! Kostas and Harvey Elliot definitely have seen better days.
Darwin will always be Darwin and Jota definitely was off it. I think there was one change too many from Slot. This is a combination of either not having a good quality depth as much as we believe we have or selecting the wrong blend and down to not lack of investment; still process of re-building.
A player who is Top Class, Really Good will always stand out as an individual. None of those did yesterday. Plymouth deserved their Triumph.
