When Amad scored against us at the death of injury time, I thought this was just Liverpool cursed. Now this kind of misfortune is happening with Man City.
Deflating and Despair for them to experience this.
Amorim has undeniably inherited a big job on his hands. Maybe this win can be a bit of a springboard for him to start putting on a run.

Title gone for City for sure now. No way even on a so-called mad run, you can go on a 22 game without not losing a match.
Last time I saw this sort of outcome was the Champions League Final 1999 when United turned it around late and won it.

Spirit seems take be evaporating from this game. For a side that’s taken a 1-0 nil lead, they don’t really seem too happy. Pep included. Can United get back in this?

Young Blue, Chelsea are now Liverpool’s nearest challengers and that’s a big Credit to them. Push all the other stuff to one side like players bought etc. That’s just immature and I’m not interested in raising all that stuff.
It’s circumstance too based on what has happened to Man City, but above all, we could all probably agree apart from this being the best league, it’s also now more than ever the most unpredictable and competitive.
Tottenham away next Sunday will be tough. Anybody dismissing Ange, he will have his players READY. Liverpool could lose that match and Chelsea themselves could close the gap.
Positions will change and this is what us guys as Liverpool fans have been saying not to buy into 11 point leads etc. They’re a little bit superficial.
It’s a Package of Football us fans should try and digest a bit better without feeling too disappointed over the course of the season.
Cheers

Sean, Arsenal uncharacteristically dropped points mate and I expected them to win.
Same amount of games played against Chelsea so happy we’re holding a 5 point lead.
Christmas games we can’t expect to win all and Spurs next week will be tough, but absolutely delighted to have Elliot and Jota back in the fold.
Missed Macca today me thinks.

Cheers Chucks for the bail out haha 🙂 Been real busy being Xmas;
Celebrated both goals at work and customers all looked 😀 but it was all in great spirits.
Can’t complain at all and it’s a positive happy draw from my perspective considering all circumstances. I’m happy accepting we won’t win a game every weekend and our unbeaten road continues since the Forest defeat in all Competitions.
Getting players back so that’s ultra encouraging. I just feel a magnet this season like a 2018/19 Klopp season where there’s a comeback on the cards.
All good 🙂

Mikus spot on. I read a comment like this on another platform that correlates with Jurgen’s gegen-pressing. Inevitably season after season cannot be sustainable. It’s actually a miracle we have Salah playing so many seasons for us and is probably at his best level. Van Dijk too.
Rodri and Kovacic there’s no denying, but other players levels have dropped and naturally their confidence has taken a beating.
Playing I believe with 2 holding midfielders is probably a more safer way to try and rebuild some lost resilience. Pep’s wingers have lacked too. There was goals before coming from more than just Haaland.

Long way away. Who knows what the world will be. Snooker players have been receptive to Saudi as a destination in staging one of the tournaments. The facilities are absolutely luxurious.
Footballers are going to be even more pampered. It’s where the cream is. This news doesn’t surprise me.
I wish it would be England though. Imagine King Power as one of the Venues lol! 😀

Encouraging reads for both, thanks Gents. Living in hope. Heavy point deduction would be a start of enforcement of punishment.
Titles I’m not so sure. Parts of society really have downed tools when they speak like Top Flight Football never existed before the Premier League inception in 1992.
I just smell signs that there’s inside info leaking and things are happening or have happened behind the scenes. All those run of bad results in succession, Pep cryptic in wanting to jack it all in and play Golf, and a team essentially where parts of it will need a rebuild.
Chelsea and Arsenal Dominance taking shape for the rest of this decade.

Minus, absolutely. This time of the year everybody needs to be extra careful. There are too many vehicles on the road as it is. It could gave been deadly serious.🛑

Worth a read. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14173251/Michail-Antonio-34-forced-RETIRE-crash-fracture.html
It’s all about recovery and being stable at this moment in time. Thoughts with Michail.

Still think it’ll be a tough game for us 2 weeks time. Teams dropping points and that’s going to happen more along the way. Makes me wonder if any team will hit the 90 point mark this season.
Not sure on the thinking of Ange not starting Maddison. Bissouma just clumsy. The way in which those fouls were committed by both Tottenham players
Enzo usually threatening and good to watch for the Blues. Be a Top 4 finish for them this season. Progress.

We almost reaped the dividends without kicking a ball, but I’ll take that. Maybe a 3 horse race with Man City as outsiders.
