I was thinking this Sean; Maddison and Kule’ in mid which is of course good for Spurs and Solanke looks like he’s made a difference, but they could themselves do with for example a Jorginho.
Maybe just Ange’s philosophy; attack.

Sean, I get what you mean mate and do agree.
I was a bit surprised with our 3 wins; the Portman Road game could have ended in a draw, the Man United game could have ended in defeat.
Yesterday was quite a kick in the teeth more towards us not turning up in front our of own supporters on home soil.
Slot will need time and support. No signings letting out the elephant in the room all summer and letting go of Carvalho does leave disappointment.
He’s got to surely be backed to go out and bring in some new faces and top names too.

One of the big standouts whether or not this draws a parallel to Jurgen’s first term with us is into the unknown and going in with no PL Experience against Nuno who obviously has to his name PL Experience managing Wolves and Spurs in Example.
We just were not at the races yesterday. My worry is the loss being at Anfield. I think prior to the Atalanta and Palace defeats, we really were rock-solid; in fact, formidable.
I’m not sure why we were what we were but what we don’t want to allow is for us to be dropping levels and thereafter become a mid-table inconsistent side.
My personal target for these guys after this defeat is to aim to go 10 without defeat.

He’ll rightfully get a roasting from Sean Dyche because almost guarantee, this is what the Premier League will do to you. 2-2.

That was there for the taking and Calvert-Lewin really made a dogs dinner out of that. Shoot-On-Sight!

I think you’re right there CM. We struggle against teams placed firmly in their own area and magnetically draw you in; only then to exploit all the space left.
We could try and be a bit more patient; bit of Cat n Mouse.

I’m guessing Mikus, it was more to do with our transfer policy and a combination of managing transition, rebuild and pure and simply tiredness from our beloved Jurgen.
This Dutch Dude looks like he’s sussed the Team. I don’t think behind the scenes he will suffer any fools.

Teams away from home seemingly a lot more tactically smart and set up well which can suit them.

This is a competitive Premier League with Manchester City not surprisingly head and shoulders above the rest.

Ed, there is some work to be done and I feel in my view, we are 3 top class players short. If we had the original front 3 today of Mane and Firminho, we probably would have won comfortably this afternoon.
The players were not up to scratch today. We don’t particularly rev ourselves after the internationals.
Fortunate to currently be sat 2nd.

Yeah Sean, just heard Arnie’s interview on 5 live. Honestly spoken and magnanimous towards Forest. He acknowledged their low block and our short falls.
Hope results go our way rest of the weekend and softens the blow. We are 2nd so maybe not all bad.

Just uncharacteristic, but from what I’ve been following on the radio, we probably didn’t deserve to win this. Won’t let this get me down too much for tomorrow. Cheers for the Birthday wishes guys, appreciated 🙂

Cheers Sean, been too busy to think about it. Radio 5 tomorrow after my shift. Hopefully a nice Birthday Present from the Reds to celebrate a win over the weekend.
Good start from Liverpool so far, but very early days and things can scaringly change quickly, so just sort of go with the flow.
