Yeah this does appear to be a witch-hunt. Not sure why. Everton???? 4 straight defeats. And before the inter break, hell broke loose with the media on Ten-Hag.
Obviously you try and be pacesetters, but that will work only if you’re effectively Manchester City.
I’m not sure who was actually getting carried away with our first 3 wins. Nobody was from here as I recall. One defeat, and we’re now down in the dumps; a second would definitely lead to knives out.

All focus on Milan tomorrow as we return to the CL.

What a funny and weird stat that the one goal Liverpool finally concede out of their 4 matches leads to an unexpected defeat versus Forest at Anfield.

He needs to bring in players more on the defensive side and focus on building a solidity. To be fair to Ange, that was a narrow 1-0 against a very robust Gunners side. Can’t be too harsh.

Three P’s good point raised on the passes rushed; I agree with you there. I watched on another Redmen Tv a regular match-goer highlighting the same point on passing observing sloppiness.
I also agree with you on the point of Inter Duty. I noted we had an unchanged line up. The point I made using Carvarlo as an example was that he had a good pre-season in my eyes and would have impressed Slot, so I don’t understand why he was sold regardless of the good sale we made from him.
We don’t have new faces and ones in which can come off the bench and change the game. Nunez isn’t going to be and becomes a passenger the more I see of him.
To assert that we can go places with this squad and win trophies this season without any new additions that could really make a difference would deep down just be naive or in denial.

Body blow and heartbreak; this is what happened to Everton yesterday; second half late on turning it around.

Oh, that was so unfortunate for Wolves; slight deflection, but what a strike!

And one of the reasons as to why; the dummy that caught them out.

Haha, just realized who that face resembles to of the Wolves right-back; Samuel Eto look-a-like 🙂 Been a busy player so far in this half.

Some teams’ patterns of play when attacking is predictable. No wonder defenders focusing in reading the game find it more easier to defend.
Just seen one example from the Wolves-Newcastle game. Sometimes you need to be sponteneous otherwise you’re relying on good fortune, set pieces and individual quality.

Keeper just slightly lost his standing and vision momentarily during the corner I think Alfie.
Gabriel did look up for it. Commiserations to Spurs, but with all their efforts all they long, it wasn’t going to happen for them

Precisely. Take the sting out of it and just allow calmness. Unless there is absolute justification within the rules, no Red Cards necessary because the muddies the whole affair and then Referees etc then get heavily slated.

It’s the aftermatch which is perfectly normal given it’s a North London Derby. Handbags. Don’t really want to see Red Cards in this.

I was thinking this Sean; Maddison and Kule’ in mid which is of course good for Spurs and Solanke looks like he’s made a difference, but they could themselves do with for example a Jorginho.
Maybe just Ange’s philosophy; attack.

Sean, I get what you mean mate and do agree.
I was a bit surprised with our 3 wins; the Portman Road game could have ended in a draw, the Man United game could have ended in defeat.
Yesterday was quite a kick in the teeth more towards us not turning up in front our of own supporters on home soil.
Slot will need time and support. No signings letting out the elephant in the room all summer and letting go of Carvalho does leave disappointment.
He’s got to surely be backed to go out and bring in some new faces and top names too.

One of the big standouts whether or not this draws a parallel to Jurgen’s first term with us is into the unknown and going in with no PL Experience against Nuno who obviously has to his name PL Experience managing Wolves and Spurs in Example.
We just were not at the races yesterday. My worry is the loss being at Anfield. I think prior to the Atalanta and Palace defeats, we really were rock-solid; in fact, formidable.
I’m not sure why we were what we were but what we don’t want to allow is for us to be dropping levels and thereafter become a mid-table inconsistent side.
My personal target for these guys after this defeat is to aim to go 10 without defeat.
