Stark contrast in feeling to last Saturday. Super Delighted with the 3-0 🙂
We’re Top, but whatever happens at the Ethiad tomorrow, that will change. A draw would probably be the best result for us.

Halaand versus Raya, who really was a hero last night and possibly could have sparked up something that could be lasting.

Haha, I sincerely prior to clicking thought this was something to throw a Dart at Jamie Carragher 😀 He does time to time deserve it.
Well Done mate; Next Round Indeed.

We turned it on when we needed to. Perfect bounce-back from Sat.
Many Happy Returns Arnie – a Birthday Present indeed.

17th September 2024 at 1:56 pm in reply to: Champions League New Format and First Phase Matches #215642Chucks, I came across the exact thing! I think it was either via Tv or Radio re that particular permutation to qualify.
Lots of strands of thoughts; the obvious one being money talks. I don’t know the exact figure, but reportedly, Villa have upped their pricing on CL. This sums up the thought of commerce and business opportunities and calibrates with Alisson’s own thoughts.
It’s great for the passing fan or one of which wanting entertainment and liking football for football without any allegiance. Those ridiculous achievements collectively accomplished by both Man City and Liverpool in not only competing and upholding participating in multi-competitions, but winning these trophies as well as PL Titles and other domestic trophies spells undoubtedly 2 things:
1 – The Best 11
2 – The Best Squad DepthArsenal I believe at Present are up there. Lots of strands surrounding money we can’t as fans control, but a point raised by Allison is the possible effects being involved in game after game that can lead to of course tiredness and underperforming.
Are we always getting the best versions of them each and every game?
Managers then take a hammering.
It once again takes me back and appreciate how good of a player and performer Sadio Mane was, and the main man, along with a probably then, a World Class Front 3.
I can see very easily from now the FA Cup and League Cup compromised.

Yeah this does appear to be a witch-hunt. Not sure why. Everton???? 4 straight defeats. And before the inter break, hell broke loose with the media on Ten-Hag.
Obviously you try and be pacesetters, but that will work only if you’re effectively Manchester City.
I’m not sure who was actually getting carried away with our first 3 wins. Nobody was from here as I recall. One defeat, and we’re now down in the dumps; a second would definitely lead to knives out.

What a funny and weird stat that the one goal Liverpool finally concede out of their 4 matches leads to an unexpected defeat versus Forest at Anfield.

He needs to bring in players more on the defensive side and focus on building a solidity. To be fair to Ange, that was a narrow 1-0 against a very robust Gunners side. Can’t be too harsh.

Three P’s good point raised on the passes rushed; I agree with you there. I watched on another Redmen Tv a regular match-goer highlighting the same point on passing observing sloppiness.
I also agree with you on the point of Inter Duty. I noted we had an unchanged line up. The point I made using Carvarlo as an example was that he had a good pre-season in my eyes and would have impressed Slot, so I don’t understand why he was sold regardless of the good sale we made from him.
We don’t have new faces and ones in which can come off the bench and change the game. Nunez isn’t going to be and becomes a passenger the more I see of him.
To assert that we can go places with this squad and win trophies this season without any new additions that could really make a difference would deep down just be naive or in denial.
